 Job Description
 
 
 
 
 The candidate will be working with and reporting to Senior Accountant who is leading the account payable section of the finance operations. The candidate should have application knowledge on the following areas:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Should possess a foundational understanding of the end‑to‑end Accounts Payable process.
 </li>
 <li>
 Coordinate with banker and process payments for both domestic purchase of goods/services and import purchase of goods/services.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should possess knowledge to effectively address discrepancies raised by banks on import payments by coordinating with banker and supply chain team.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage payments related to Custom Duty, SIMS, and PIMS.
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure all statutory payments viz TDS, GST, PF, ESI, etc. are processed accurately and on time.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pass accounting entries related to payments and ensure proper documentation
 </li>
 <li>
 Process employee claims in line with company policy
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare Cash Forecasts and Cash Flow.
 </li>
 <li>
 Track and close IDMPS items within stipulated timelines by submission of needed documents with banker.
 </li>
 <li>
 Support payroll processing activities with respect to input validation, processing of salary register, etc.,
 </li>
 <li>
 Purchase of foreign currencies based on employee travel requirements from vendor.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle month‑end closing activities including AP Provisions, Interest Accruals, and other adjustments
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain all payment related documents/information and to cater internal/external audit requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned from time to time.
 </li>
 <li>
 This is a Contract role.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 B.Com with 3+ years of experience / M.Com with 2+ years of experience.
 </li>
 <li>
 Should have good knowledge on Office 365 particularly in Excel.
 </li>
 <li>
 Good communication skills.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and time‑management abilities.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
 </li>
 <li>

Job Description 
This role is responsible for managing trade compliance and logistics operations across the region, with a primary focus on import and export activities. The successful candidate will act as the regional subject matter expert on customs regulations, ensuring goods move efficiently and compliantly across borders. In addition to overseeing import/export audits and classification, the role includes hands-on coordination with brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to resolve trade-related issues and support day-to-day logistics execution.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes: 
<ul><li>
Lead a team of HTS Analysts ensuring systems and parts are correctly classified.</li><li>
Serve as the first point of contact for trade compliance issues in the region.</li><li>
Monitor and advise on import/export regulations including tariffs, trade agreements, incoterms, rules of origin, HS classification and valuation.</li><li>
Perform internal audits and support external audits by customs or other regulatory bodies.</li><li>
Oversee tariff reconciliation and any post-audit actions</li><li>
Identify compliance risks and implement mitigation strategies.</li><li>
Liaise with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant flow of goods.</li><li>
Proactively resolve customs or transportation-related queries.</li><li>
Monitor and report on logistics KPIs and audit outcomes to support strategic planning.</li><li>
Provide training or guidance to internal stakeholders on customs requirements and best practices.</li><li>
Support the development and continuous improvement of trade compliance procedures and documentation.</li><li>
As part of the Global Logistics and Trade Compliance organization, this individual will provide support in region as a point of contact for other group requirements as may arise.</li></ul> 

Qualifications 
<ul><li>
Minimum 5 years' experience in customs brokerage, trade compliance, or international trade.</li><li>
Solid knowledge of Regional customs regulations, import/export procedures, and HTS classification.</li><li>
Strong commercial awareness</li><li>
Experience working with Regional Customs Authorities and other relevant authorities.</li><li>
Experience in the machinery or manufacturing sector is desirable but not essential.</li></ul>
