Works directly with customers to define functional requirements and design, configure, commission and qualify control systems in Rockwell platforms.</div>
Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Owns and leads projects with small to medium sized teams for projects executed in Rockwell Platforms</li><li>
Assists Project Manager in identifying changes in project scope and developing change orders.</li><li>
Demonstrates an understanding of the project scope and schedule.</li><li>
Translates functional requirements to system configuration.</li><li>
Develop Life Cycle documents, Electrical panels, Control Architecture and wiring drawings per GMP standards</li><li>
Define and implement distributed control system (DCS) configurations</li><li>
Designs control systems&rsquo; network architectures and control strategies.</li><li>
Testing and on-site commissioning and qualification of control systems</li><li>
Serves as a technical contact for customers.</li><li>
Has a firm competency of one or more control systems platforms or industrial processes.</li><li>
Adapts to new technologies by applying learned concepts and functionality.</li></ul><div>
Day to Day Activities:</div><ul><li>
Interfacing with the clients in design meetings and conference calls</li><li>
Working with the project team leading less experienced engineers and taking direction from the project manager or lead engineer</li><li>
Programming controllers with Rockwell and Siemens</li><li>
Designing electrical control cabinets and panels</li><li>
Testing the system configuration to verify functions</li><li>
Travel to client site for project meeting</li><li>
Travel to client site for system commissioning</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>5+ years of experience in automation</li><li>
As a minimum, must be at least proficient on one or more of the following platforms:<ul><li>
Rockwell Controllogix</li><li>
Rockwell PlantPAx</li><li>
Rockwell FactoryTalk View/Studio</li><li>
Experience on other control system platforms is a plus.</li></ul></li><li>
Thorough understanding of control system design and coding</li><li>
Self-motivated, excellent communication skills, and enjoy working with people</li><li>
B.S. in Electrical, Chemical, or Computer Engineering or Engineering Technology or related degree</li></ul>

Use P&amp;ID, Equipment Lists, I/O Lists and Process Descriptions to define control schemes for clients.</li><li>
Network customer systems, Controllers, HMI PC's, Field mounted instruments and Process Skids to provide fully integrated control systems</li></ul></li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Preferred: Degree in a Technical Field, related to Engineering, Controls, or Systems</li><li>
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to multi-task and handle multiple concurrent projects</li><li>
