<div>About the role:
In this pivotal role, you will act as a bridge between business and IT, translating business needs into effective BI solutions using a variety of analysis and reporting tools. You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand and leverage Landal&rsquo;s datasets, establish standards and templates, and promote best practices across the organization. 
 
Develop and maintain high-quality analytics data models, BI reports, and semantic layers that power data-driven decisions across Finance, Commerce, and Operations. The Analytics Engineer works hands-on in Databricks, DBT, and Power BI to translate raw data into reliable, well-documented assets contributing to our Customer 360 initiative, marketing attribution models, and cost-to-LTV analytics under the guidance of the Lead Analytics Engineer.
What will you do:
As a Analytics Engineer at Landal, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business and IT, helping our organization make data-informed decisions at both strategic and tactical levels.
In this role, you will:<div><ul><li>
Build and maintain DBT data models in Databricks, ensuring data quality, performance, and documentation standards are met.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Help integrating customer touchpoints across marketing, commerce, and operations.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Support the development and maintenance of multi-touch attribution (MTA) models and assist in laying the groundwork for MMM.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, semantic models, and metric definitions that serve business stakeholders.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Write and optimise SQL transformations and work with Data Engineers on ingestion pipelines across Azure and GCP.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Follow version control, CI/CD, and documentation standards using Azure DevOps and Git.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Work closely with the Lead Analytics Engineer and business stakeholders to translate requirements into analytics solutions.</li></ul></div><div><ul><li>
Proactively monitor data accuracy and flag integrity issues in analytical models.</li></ul></div>
This position offers a dynamic mix of hands-on development and advisory responsibilities, allowing you to have a real impact on the organization&rsquo;s data-driven decision-making.
Your work location is our new office on Wibautstraat in Amsterdam. Of course, working from home is possible, but it is desirable that you work from the office at least 3 days a week.
For this position, we can only consider applicants who are already residing in the Netherlands and hold a valid work permit.
This is you:<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s or Master&rsquo;s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Business Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline;</li><li>A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst or Analytics Engineer;</li><li>Ideally you have some understanding of AI applied analytics, such as Databricks Genie;</li><li>Proven experience in querying, analyzing, and managing large datasets;
</li><li>Advanced proficiency in BI and analytics tools such as Power BI, DBT, Databricks, Power Apps, or similar;
</li><li>Strong experience in dashboard development and data visualization, with understanding of data relationships;
</li><li>SQL proficiency and experience with Data Modeling (Kimball) and Semantic Models;
</li><li>Hands-on experience creating comprehensive business reports and interactive dashboards; Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical BI solutions;
</li><li>Analytical skills for interpreting critical and complex data sets.</li></ul>

Data Analyst

At Landal, we are continuously evolving our digital commerce platform to deliver seamless guest experiences. As Tech Delivery Lead (Web &ndash; Frontend Focus), you take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of our webshop and web applications. 
 
You are a frontend-leaning full-stack engineer who combines strong technical expertise with delivery leadership. You guide teams in building modern, scalable, and high-performing user experiences while ensuring smooth collaboration with backend and platform teams.
What will you do:
As a Tech Delivery Lead at Landal your tasks &amp; responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Lead end-to-end technical delivery of webshop and web features, from backlog to production;</li><li>
Translate business needs into frontend-focused solutions and technical designs;</li><li>
Ensure performance, scalability, accessibility, and code quality of web applications;</li><li>
Act as Tech Lead for frontend developers, guiding architecture and implementation;</li><li>
Coordinate teams and vendors, including agile facilitation (Scrum Master responsibilities when needed).</li></ul>
This is you:
To be succesful in this role you:
 
<ul><li>6&ndash;10 years experience as a full-stack developer with strong frontend focus;</li><li>Hands-on expertise with modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, Next.js or similar);</li><li>Solid understanding of APIs, backend interactions, and end-to-end application flows;</li><li>Experience with frontend architecture, performance optimization, and scalable UI design;</li><li>Experience with CI/CD, version control, and Agile delivery tools (Jira/Azure DevOps).
</li></ul> 
As well it would be nice if you have experience with:
 
<ul><li>Node.js or Backend-for-Frontend (BFF) patterns;</li><li>Design systems, component libraries, and reusable UI architecture;</li><li>A/B testing, personalization, or frontend analytics tools;</li><li>Using AI tools in development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT).</li></ul>
