Job PurposeTo ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free working environment in the warehouse by implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among employees, contractors, and visitors.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Implement and monitor health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies in the warehouse.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Warehousing Safety Norms, OSHA guidelines, and local statutory requirements.</li><li>Conduct daily safety inspections of warehouse operations, material handling equipment, racking systems, forklifts, and loading/unloading areas.</li><li>Identify hazards, conduct risk assessments, and recommend corrective &amp; preventive actions.</li><li>Ensure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) by all employees and contract staff.</li><li>Conduct safety induction and toolbox talks for new joiners, contractors, and drivers.</li><li>Investigate accidents, near-miss incidents, and unsafe acts; prepare reports and implement preventive measures.</li><li>Maintain records of accidents, safety trainings, safety audits, fire drills, and mock drills.</li><li>Coordinate fire safety arrangements, emergency evacuation plans, and first-aid facilities.</li><li>Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and clients during safety audits and inspections.</li><li>Monitor housekeeping standards and ensure 5S and safe material stacking practices.</li><li>Ensure safety compliance during forklift operations, pallet movement, height work, and chemical handling.</li><li>Support management in achieving zero accident targets and continuous safety improvement.</li></ul>Qualifications &amp; Skills<ul><li>Diploma / Degree in Safety Management, Industrial Safety, or NEBOSH/IOSH (preferred).</li><li>2&ndash;5 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or industrial safety.</li><li>Good knowledge of warehouse safety standards and statutory compliances.</li><li>Strong communication and training skills.</li><li>Ability to identify risks and enforce safety discipline on the shop floor.</li><li>Basic knowledge of MS Excel &amp; report preparation.</li></ul>Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)<ul><li>Reduction in accidents and near-miss incidents</li><li>Safety audit compliance score</li><li>Training coverage and PPE compliance</li><li>Emergency preparedness effectiveness</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Cell phone reimbursement</li><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
