Interior Designer

<div>The Opportunity:

We are seeking a<b> Project Controller</b> to support the Financial Planning &amp; Analysis (FP&amp;A) team. This position is structured as full-time and offers flexibility to work remotely and/or in a hybrid capacity from one of our RS&amp;H offices, with a preference for candidates located in the western region (e.g., Denver, Phoenix, Southern California).</div><div><div>
As a Project Controller, you will provide end-to-end project lifecycle support, including initiation, monitoring, control, and reporting on project costs, schedules, and risks to ensure profitability and timely delivery. In this role, you will support project management teams in delivering projects on time and within budget while applying foundational project controls and financial principles. Under supervision, you will have the authority to make independent decisions and exercise judgment for routine issues, supporting multiple small to medium-sized projects with limited complexity.</div><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Essential Functions</b></h3><ul><li>
Provide project lifecycle support to initiate, monitor, control, and report on project costs, schedules, and risks to ensure profitability and timely delivery.</li><li>
Manage budgets, track expenditures, prepare forecasts, and ensure compliance with contract terms in collaboration with engineering, construction, and project management teams.</li><li>
Analyze key financial metrics (e.g., EAC, ETC, Earned Value, multipliers) to support project teams in meeting deadlines and budget objectives.</li><li>
Assist project management teams in assembling scope and fee proposals, including verifying labor rates, staffing plans, and proposal documentation.</li><li>
Facilitate client contract and subcontract execution, including amendments and ensuring required documentation and signatures are completed.</li><li>
Support client invoicing processes in collaboration with project management and billing staff.</li><li>
Lead subconsultant invoice processing and review, serving as a liaison between project teams, billing staff, and subconsultants.</li><li>
Maintain opportunity and project data in ERP systems with direction from project management.</li><li>
Monitor and support project financial performance throughout the lifecycle, identifying improvement opportunities and cost-saving measures.</li><li>
Assess and provide recommendations regarding schedule impacts, scope changes, and financial performance to project teams and FP&amp;A.</li><li>
Facilitate project closeout processes, including final subconsultant payments, accounts receivable tracking, and data validation.</li><li>
Perform additional project-related duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Minimum Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>
Minimum 2&ndash;4 years of experience in project controls, construction accounting, or cost engineering; A/E industry experience preferred.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel skills for data analysis.</li><li>
Experience with Deltek Vision, Oracle (ERP), and SharePoint is a plus.</li><li>
Self-driven with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>
Excellent collaboration, organizational, and communication skills (verbal and written).</li><li>

RS&amp;H is seeking an experienced Regional Leader / Project Director to join our Aviation Buildings team. This hybrid role combines in-office collaboration with remote flexibility. As part of the Aviation Buildings team, you'll serve an integral role in the firm by conforming medium to large projects to the client's requirements, meeting scheduled milestone dates, internal and external budget constraints, and participating in the selection of subconsultants and delivery of a quality project. This position will determine the needs and expectations of the client and oversees the project to ensure all needs are met, including establishing and communicating project requirements and ensuring the team delivers a final product which meets the requirements and maintains client satisfaction; develop a detailed scope of work, budget, and schedule; provide ongoing communication to the project team, ensuring objectives are clear; direct the project team through all phases of the project to achieve the desired results within the established budget and schedule; negotiate scope and fee with the client under the guidance/direction of a project officer; recommend alternative solutions if project objectives cannot be achieved and contractual obligations cannot be met; serve as a point of contact for the client and the liaison with the project team throughout the duration of the project, including providing regular status updates; provide technical direction and coordination of the project team; provide an exceptional client experience to support marketing efforts to secure repeat business from existing clients and work from new clients; and identify problems with the production and delivery process and participate in efforts to affect improvements. This position may also provide mentorship and guidance to junior project managers and may serve as the primary owner for project quality planning and quality control.</div><div></div><div><br>
To be successful in this role, you must:</div><ul><li>
Have a degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program or equivalent experience.</li><li>
Have 15 years of relevant experience and be recognized as a thought leader, including prior experience leading the work of multiple disciplines.</li><li>
Possess an active license in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of state and local building codes, zoning laws, fire regulations, and other applicable ordinances.</li><li>
Have proven ability to make decisions with significant organizational impact and recommend operational strategies and plans with direct influence on outcomes.</li><li>
Have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior leadership on matters of strategic importance.</li><li>
Have a passion for project management, with PMP certification preferred.</li><li>
Demonstrate strong attention to detail, commitment to follow-through, and the ability to work independently with general direction and oversight from leadership.</li><li>
Be able to multi-task, prioritize workload, and manage multiple projects and assignments concurrently.
