In this role, you will support our administration in various functions and contribute to creating a positive work environment for our staff. This position is essential in helping us maintain our commitment to high-quality care for our residents.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings and screening candidates.</li><li>Coordinate onboarding processes for new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.</li><li>Maintain employee records.</li><li>Ensure employee background checks, FCSR, EDL, etc, are completed appropriately upon hire and at DHSS routine intervals.</li><li>Enter / correct payroll data in the time-clock with accuracy and confidentiality.</li><li>Support succession planning initiatives to develop talent within the organization.</li><li>Manage workers' compensation claims and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.</li><li>Assist with workforce management tasks to optimize staffing levels across facilities.</li><li>Provide support in employee relations matters and assist with conflict resolution.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Experience with utilizing computer and programs such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.</li><li>Strong understanding of workforce management principles and workers' compensation processes.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.</li><li>Ability to support department managers to enforce employee handbook and policies.</li></ul>If you are passionate about supporting a dedicated team in the senior living industry, we invite you to apply for the Human Resources Coordinator position at Cedar Pointe today!Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
