Role Overview:
The Digital Marketing Intern supports the marketing team in executing integrated marketing initiatives that reinforce RTM&rsquo;s brand positioning, digital presence, and business development efforts. This role provides hands-on exposure to marketing operations, digital channels, content coordination, and brand communications within a professional services environment.
Working under the guidance of the marketing team, the intern assists with content development, campaign coordination, research, and marketing asset management. The role also introduces the use of AI-enabled marketing tools to support content creation, research, and workflow efficiency. This position is designed to provide practical experience with marketing systems, campaign execution, and marketing technology while developing professional skills in organization, collaboration, and brand communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing &amp; Campaign Support<div><ul><li>
Participate in marketing and business development meetings to support team coordination, task tracking, and understanding of marketing campaign workflows.</li><li>
Assist with the execution of marketing initiatives across digital channels including social media, email marketing, website updates, and event-related communications.</li><li>
Support the development of marketing content including social media posts, blog drafts, marketing emails, presentations, and promotional materials.</li><li>
Help maintain marketing assets, content calendars, and brand resources to support consistent and timely campaign execution.</li><li>
Assist with coordinating campaign timelines, tasks, approvals, and overall workflow to ensure deadlines are met.</li><li>
Help coordinate campaign timelines, tasks, and approvals to support on-time delivery of marketing initiatives.</li><li>
Support marketing efforts for conferences, seminars, career fairs, and other internal or external events.</li><li>
Assist with monitoring digital engagement and compiling basic marketing performance metrics.</li><li>
Conduct market and competitor research to support marketing campaigns and strategy development.</li><li>
Provide administrative and operational support to ensure marketing initiatives are executed efficiently.</li></ul></div>
Marketing Systems &amp; Data Support<div><ul><li>
Assist in maintaining RTM&rsquo;s marketing resource library and organizing marketing assets.</li><li>
Support updates to marketing collateral and digital content using internal marketing systems.</li><li>
Assist with CRM updates, data entry, and periodic database organization.</li><li>
Help maintain and organize marketing templates, images, and brand resources.</li></ul></div>
AI &amp; Marketing Technology Exposure<div><ul><li>
Assist with the use of AI-enabled tools to support content drafting, research, and campaign ideation under guidance from the marketing team.</li><li>
Develop basic familiarity with structured prompts to support AI-assisted marketing workflows.</li><li>
Support the review of AI-generated content for accuracy, brand alignment, and messaging consistency.</li><li>
Gain exposure to digital marketing platforms, social media management tools, and marketing analytics used to track performance and inform campaign adjustments.</li><li>
Collaborate with marketing team members to support coordinated use of marketing technologies and digital tools across initiatives.</li></ul></div>
Qualifications &amp; Core Competencies<div><ul><li>
Currently pursuing a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, communications, business, journalism, or a related field.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.</li><li>
Basic familiarity with digital marketing concepts and social media channels.</li><li>
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).</li><li>

Estimated Hourly Range: $21-23/hour
