Senior Data Engineer - Iowa

<div><div>Independently coordinates and schedules a fleet of drivers according to customer requests in compliance with company rules and DOT regulations to maximize operational performance and customer satisfaction. Supervises activities of drivers and maintains daily communication with the customer on areas impacting operational performance.<br>

<div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Responsible to coach and counsel drivers in such areas as safety, performance, productivity and morale. Supervise all activities of drivers.</li>
<li>Direct and schedule driver's work. Plan, assign, and distribute daily work to while coordinating loads, equipment and backhauls to achieve maximum utilization of the fleet.</li>
<li>Manage work assignments. Develop daily delivery plan utilizing equipment, manpower and other resources to ensure an effective, efficient operation. Organize, plan and implement transportation solutions for assigned customers that utilize the best cost option to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve delivery and scheduling problems through timely communication with customers, drivers, vendors and other Ruan locations</li>
<li>Perform administrative functions to include payroll, billing, driver counseling and post-accident reviews.</li>
<li>Participate in the review and analysis of operating performance.</li>
<li>Properly use the Ruan transportation management systems to ensure all required operational data is accurately captured in a near real-time manner.</li>
<li>Monitor and promote safety and compliance with company policies and federal, state and local regulations in all areas of the operation.</li>

<div><b>Job Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:
</b></div><div>Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Transportation or Logistics or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.</div>
<div>Experience: 1-2 of experience in Transportation or similar industry role.</div>
<ul><li>Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations strongly desired.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of dispatch systems is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>

Fleet Supervisor

<div><div><div><b>This is a full-time position working onsite in Midlothian, TX.</b></div>
<div><b>Schedule:</b> Sunday-Wednesday</div>
<div><b>Hours:</b> 5:00 AM- 3:30 PM</div>
</div><div></div><div>Coordinate the timely movement of customer's product in a safe, efficient manner, in compliance with company rules and DOT regulations. Assign workload to available drivers, monitor product movements and resolve delivery and scheduling issues. Properly use the Ruan transportation management systems to ensure all required operational data is accurately captured in a near real-time manner.<br>

<div><b>Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Responsible for the timely pickup and delivery of all customer orders within assigned area while maintaining customer expectations. Ensure efficient utilization of drivers and equipment.</li>
<li>Direct and schedule drivers' work. Notify drivers of work assignments to ensure on-time movement of goods to maximize operational efficiency. Regularly monitor driver activities and performance.</li>
<li>Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues. Inform and escalate service issues to management as appropriate. Maintain timely and professional communication with customer contacts on issues impacting service and overall performance.</li>
<li>Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.</li>
<li>Effectively communicate with customer on a regular and timely basis regarding issues impacting the customer and/or their service expectations.</li>
<li>Accurately prepare and process data and paperwork including but not limited to maintaining driver activities in computer systems, activity reports/trip documents, driver hours of service, fuel tickets and other required items. Responsible to update driver and dispatch information into dispatch system real time.</li>
<li>Monitor and promote safety in all areas of dispatch.</li>
