<p>As an Enterprise Account Executive, you will have ownership of all elements of bookings growth in new and existing accounts. We are seeking a relentless self-starter who is hyper-focused on acquiring new logos by discovering and developing new opportunities, managing pipeline, and executing account strategies, while also encouraging existing customer expansion. The AE must drive pipeline generation daily while working with Sales Engineers, Sales Development, Channel Development, and Rubrik Channel Partners to exceed sales quotas.</p><br>

<b>What You'll Do:</b></p>
<ul><li>Define and execute sales plans for the assigned territory to meet and exceed quota through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities</li><li>
Develop and manage sales pipeline to move a large number of strategic transactions through the sales process</li><li>
Identify and close new opportunities for growth working with a mix of mid-enterprise accounts</li><li>
Present Rubrik, Inc. solutions within complex data center design environments</li><li>
Co-sell and strategize with partners, distributors, and VAR&rsquo;s to enable rapid growth</li><li>
Provide Rubrik, Inc. management with feedback about the local market opportunity and identification of new business opportunities and channel partnerships</li></ul><br>

<b>Experience You&rsquo;ll Need:</b></p>
<ul><li>10+ years Tech sales experience (selling either IT Infrastructure or SaaS &ndash; ideally both)</li><li>
Consistent track record landing net &quot;new logos&quot;</li><li>
Strong track record of performance selling to End User Fortune 100</li><li>
Track record of net new business logos via self sourced pipeline generation activities</li><li>
Understands &amp; has used MEDDPICC as a sales qualification tool</li><li>
Understanding and experience working with channel</li><li>
Highly driven, goal oriented &quot;get it done&quot; attitude</li><li>
Experience selling a complex solution</li></ul>

<p>You&rsquo;ll be joining the Exocompute team, we build the platform that supports Rubrik&rsquo;s SaaS products and allows for a very flexible deployment model and architecture. A key challenge faced by Rubrik is how to support a variety of customers &ndash; some want Rubrik to run everything (SaaS), others want the data to remain in their public cloud but still have it managed by Rubrik (Hybrid SaaS), and finally sine want a private, on-premise solution (On-Prem). Rubrik supports all three and with a single flexible data-plane platform separate from our control plane. Exocompute builds this data-plane and solves a variety of hard problems around performance, security, high availability and best-in-class costs.</p>
<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>About the role</b></h2>
<p>We are looking for an Engineering Manager who has a strong technical background and has worked on platforms and infrastructure in the past. We value managers who provide guidelines to their team and play a supporting role but give folks the space to take ownership of their work.</p>
<p>You will be responsible for driving your team and working closely with multiple product areas that Exocompute supports. You will set clear goals and direction for your team and hold them accountable to achieve this and lift the bar on engineering excellence. You&rsquo;ll help grow the team and support each individual's growth and career objectives. You&rsquo;ll help the team understand the business objectives and translate them into a technical roadmap and list of priorities. As part of this, you&rsquo;ll partner with various stakeholders across Rubrik that Exocompute supports.</p>
<p>You will work closely with a Director of Engineering based in New York City, and other engineers based in Palo Alto, so experience working with distributed teams and multiple timezones is ideal.</p>

<ul><li>BS CS/EE or equivalent with 10+ years of industry experience, of which 2+ years is in Engineering Management; MS or PhD is a plus</li><li>
Experience with SaaS enterprise software development built and delivered on any of AWS or Azure or GCP</li><li>
Experience with distributed systems, availability, performance optimization and cost management of a SaaS platform</li><li>
Experience running engineering storage, compute and infrastructure teams that work on SaaS and On-prem enterprise platforms</li><li>
Experience hiring and developing teams within an existing organization to work side-by-side with other teams</li><li>
Developing team identity, empowering direct reports and building career growth options for your team</li><li>
Experience working directly with customers and vendors</li><li>
