With the right routine, a dog&rsquo;s world opens up to endless possibilities.Job SummaryAs a Pack Leader, you will be responsible for taking the dogs out on their walk and filling in report cards in a timely manner. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality of our services, ensuring client satisfaction, and fostering a positive work environmentRole Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct on-leash and off-leash walks, tailored to the needs of individual dogs and ensure pack safety</li><li>Pick up and drop off dogs from their homes and transport them safely to walking locations.</li><li>Ensure the safety and security of the dogs during walks, avoiding hazards and maintaining control.</li><li>Monitor and respond to any signs of stress, discomfort, or illness in dogs.</li><li>Clean up after dogs during walks and dispose of waste responsibly in a public trash can</li><li>Communicate effectively with pet owners, providing updates and feedback on their dogs' experiences on Pet Pocketbook report card systems</li><li>Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and dog handling guidelines.</li><li>Use Petpocketbook to track walks and send report cards</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Proven experience working with dogs in a professional or volunteer capacity.</li><li>Proactive problem solving skills</li><li>Understanding of canine behavior, body language, and positive reinforcement training techniques.</li><li>Ability to handle dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.</li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.</li><li>Physical ability to walk and handle dogs for extended periods including inclement weather.</li><li>Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.</li><li>Must be 18+</li></ul>Work Location: Newton, MAWork Schedule - Monday to Friday (weekends for overnight dog sitting)Benefits:<ul><li>Weekly Fuel Reimbursement</li><li>Protective Gear for Car</li><li>Dog supplies provided - poop bags, treats and leashes provided</li><li>Select Holidays off</li><li>Opportunities for in-house overnight Dog Sitting</li><li>Training in various techniques provided</li></ul>Please attach resume to application.Job Type: Part-timeBenefits:<ul><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Fuel reimbursement</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Referral program</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In personPay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Fuel reimbursement</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Retirement plan</li></ul>Work Location: In person
