As a Specialist, Carrier Procurement at RXO, you will source, negotiate, and secure carriers to move available freight in a timely and cost-effective manner.
What your day-to-day will look like:
<ul><li>Cultivate strong core carrier relationships while negotiating and securing carriers to move freight
</li><li>Maintain continuous communication with carriers and customers to ensure a high-quality freight movement process
</li><li>Ensure all parties are informed of route changes, delays, freight concerns or other issues as necessary
</li><li>Schedule pickup and delivery appointment times; use discretion and insight when considering all factors affecting timeframe, including weather, traffic, miles, service rules, etc.
</li><li>Follow established procedures and protocols regarding HVS and HRC loads to ensure the integrity of the shipment and the RXO brand
</li><li>Accurately maintain and update information in the company&rsquo;s operating systems
</li><li>Conduct research in available databases for potential leads; make cold calls to prospects
</li><li>Track back-end billing and invoicing to ensure that carrier charges are accurate
</li></ul>At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>1 year of procurement experience
</li></ul>It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
</li><li>1 year of transportation experience
</li><li>2 years of sales or customer service experience
</li><li>The ability to exercise judgment and discretion while functioning independently within authorized limits

As the Senior Procurement Analyst, you will work with carriers, operations, and customers in procurement, bid analysis, strategy development and implementation to enhance our value to customers. We want to leverage your skills and years of experience to drive positive results while ensuring a bright future for yourself and RXO.
What your day-to-day will look like:
<ul><li>Gain a clear understanding of the customer&rsquo;s network, operations, carrier base, modes, strategies and challenges
</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with conducting carrier RFQs, analyzing rates and remaining compliant with the overall sourcing strategy
</li></ul><ul><li>Learn and become proficient in all related areas, including assisting with conducting RFQs, operating the rate database, managing and maintaining rate schedules/addendums, and assisting with onboarding new carriers
</li></ul><ul><li>Compile and interpret performance metrics; analyze historical data to ascertain anomalies or opportunities; benchmark rates for new lanes for customer cost studies
</li></ul><ul><li>Interact with senior procurement management, account management, customer associates and carriers
</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
</li></ul><ul><li>2 years of transportation or logistics experience
</li></ul>It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>Solid understanding of transportation modes, transit times and transportation operations
</li></ul><ul><li>High-level understanding of mode rate structures
</li></ul><ul><li>Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with intermediate knowledge of Access and advanced experience in Excel
</li></ul><ul><li>Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
</li></ul><ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong customer-facing skills

As the Specialist, Logistics (SNE), you&rsquo;ll be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.
What your day-to-day will look like:
<ul><li>Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Transportation Management System (TMS)
</li><li>Ability to demonstrate expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering process
</li><li>Manage charter, air expedite, hand-carry bookings from enquiry to completion
</li><li>Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken, update receivers and customers on status of loads
</li><li>Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
</li><li>Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
</li><li>Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
</li><li>Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads
</li><li>Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers
</li></ul>At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>1 year of logistics experience
</li><li>General knowledge of the transportation industry
</li></ul>It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent
</li><li>Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
</li><li>The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form
