Compensation for this role is $45,000- $55,000 The role may also be eligible for bonus or commission pay. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.
As the Specialist, Logistics (SNE), you&rsquo;ll be responsible for providing logistics support, including order entry, routing and dispatching, and traffic coordination.
What your day-to-day will look like:
<ul><li>Maintain customer profile information and enter loads from customer tenders into the Transportation Management System (TMS)
</li><li>Update account managers on problem loads and what actions have been taken, update receivers and customers on status of loads
</li><li>Monitor daily pick-ups and deliveries; verify that loads have arrived on time and in good condition
</li><li>Take check calls from drivers, ensuring that loads will deliver on time; validate all load data prior to marking loads delivered, for accounting purposes
</li><li>Investigate product overages, shortages, damages, and complete appropriate documentation
</li><li>Schedule and reschedule delivery appointments for all loads; accept or decline loads based on direction from account managers
</li><li>Provide detailed directions and instructions to properly route drivers
</li><li>This role will be for Friday, Saturday, Sunday 7am to 7pm.
</li></ul>At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>1 year of logistics experience
</li><li>General knowledge of the transportation industry
</li></ul>It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent
</li><li>Experience writing routine reports and correspondence
</li><li>The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal or diagram form

As the Representative, Customer Operations, you will maintain reports, track shipments, and solve issues that arise, ensuring that our customers have a positive experience.
What your day-to-day will look like:
<ul><li>Support Sales with managing the branch&rsquo;s key accounts
</li><li>Enter loads and confirm notes about the status of shipments
</li><li>Schedule pickup and delivery appointments with warehouses and customers
</li><li>Track the status of shipments from inception to delivery, and communicate with the customer on the status of the shipments
</li><li>Handle any issues that arise on shipments and share information and updates with the customer
</li><li>Enter information into the Transportation Management System (TMS) and prepare loads for accounting; ensure that entries are accurate and complete
</li><li>Communicate all shipment, billing or follow-up issues to the Sales Manager and Carrier Operations Group
</li><li>Prioritize the daily workload and focus of your accounts, including load entry, tracking and reporting
</li><li>Monitor report cards
</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll need to excel:
At a minimum, you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills
</li><li>Self-motivated work style with the capacity to work well with minimal direct supervision or in a team environment
</li><li>The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
</li></ul>It&rsquo;d be great if you also have:
<ul><li>1 year of sales or customer service experience
</li><li>1 year of related experience and/or training, and a general understanding of the transportation industry
</li><li>Solid attention to detail and follow-up skills with experience identifying and resolving problems
