Roles and Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Create, run, and troubleshoot reports and data sets, as well as maintain records/document management</li><li>
Maintain supply inventory, order office and operating supplies, and support the inventory life cycle.</li><li>
Schedule and assign administrative projects, and support various projects</li><li>
Assist with all shipping, receiving, and quality assurance data entry</li><li>
Assist with processing vendor invoices and supporting vendor customer accounts</li><li>
Maintain employee training logs and document procedures</li><li>
Assist in onboarding new employees in all HRIS</li><li>
Perform tasks such as filing, typing, copying, scanning, and handling mail.</li><li>
Coordinate facility planned events</li><li>

Requirements</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required</li><li>
1 plus year of experience</li><li>
Experience with SAP, Ariba Spend Management and an HRIS preferred</li><li>
Strong MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)</li><li>
Exhibits polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail</li><li>
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage changing priorities</li></ul></div></div></div><p>

</p><p>Ryerson is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and oversee the management and strategic operations of our warehouse functions. In this role, you will formulate strategies, enforce company policies, and enhance performance through effective data management and financial reviews. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying trends and assessing opportunities to improve processes and execution, ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>

Leading and managing a team of front-line supervisors in the planning and execution of day-to-day operations ensuring a focus on a safety-first culture</li><li>
Managing staffing, supply, and equipment needs based on forecasted volume</li><li>
Mentoring, developing, and expanding talent and performance initiatives throughout the location</li><li>
Identifying and creating continuous process improvement opportunities</li><li>
Driving strategic initiatives as required</li><li>
Overseeing machine and building maintenance to ensure preventative maintenance programs are in place to minimize downtime</li><li>
Ensuring warehouse staff are trained in health, safety, and environmental practices pertinent to their positions as required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OHSA) and company policies</li><li>

Requirements</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
College degree preferred or High School Diploma with 7 plus years of manufacturing experience</li><li>
5 plus years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in the metal processing/distributing industry</li><li>
Knowledge of ISO policies, procedures, and work instructions as outlined by ISO 9001:2008
</li><li>Knowledge of statistical process control, warehousing, metal handling, equipment operation, and transportation regulations and procedures</li><li>
SAP experience preferred</li><li>
MS Office experience (Word, Excel, etc.)</li><li>
Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, and leadership abilities</li><li>
Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives &ndash; e.g. lean manufacturing, 5S, LEAN, 6-sigma etc.</li></ul><p>
