<div>Job Summary
S&amp;G Stores is hiring an IT Field Technician to support and maintain technology across a large network of retail and fuel locations. This is a field-based role focused on hands-on troubleshooting, installations, and maintaining uptime across store environments. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently in the field, handling a mix of networking, system support, and hardware-related tasks.
Responsibilities
<ul><li>Provide on-site IT support across store locations based on incoming tickets</li>
<li>Troubleshoot network connectivity issues (VPNs, firewalls, VLANs, routing)</li>
<li>Support Windows environments including user accounts, devices, and Microsoft 365</li>
<li>Assist with basic server and domain-related tasks (user accounts, permissions, policies)</li>
<li>Install and maintain security camera systems and related hardware</li>
<li>Troubleshoot POS systems and back-office PCs</li>
<li>Assist with new store setups, device deployments, and infrastructure upgrades</li>
<li>Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve technical issues</li>
<li>Ensure systems remain operational and minimize downtime</li>
</ul>
Required Qualifications
<ul><li>Experience in IT support, networking, or system administration</li>
<li>Strong understanding of:</li>
<li>TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS</li>
<li>VPNs, VLANs, and firewall basics (Fortinet experience is a plus)</li>
<li>Windows OS, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365</li>
<li>Ability to troubleshoot hardware, network, and system issues independently</li>
<li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license and willingness to travel regularly</li>
</ul>
Preferred Experience
<ul><li>Experience with POS systems (e.g., Gilbarco Passport or similar)</li>
<li>Experience with security camera systems and installations</li>
<li>Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy</li>
</ul>
Schedule &amp; Expectations
<ul><li>Standard workweek with on-call rotation</li>
<li>Availability required for occasional weekends and holidays as part of support coverage</li>
</ul>
Work Environment
<ul><li>Field-based role supporting multiple store locations</li>
<li>Work is assigned based on ticket demand and operational needs</li>
<li>Fast-paced environment with a mix of networking, hardware, and support tasks</li>
</ul>
Compensation &amp; Benefits
<ul><li>Hourly Pay: $22 &ndash; $28 (based on experience)</li>
<li>Overtime available based on operational needs</li>
<li>Company vehicle and fuel provided</li>
