<div>Total Safety is looking for a Warehouse Associate to add to their safety conscious team! In our Warehouse positions you will be an important part of processing our customer orders. Receiving inbound purchases, stocking items, timely and accurate order fulfillment and timely order processing are just part of the requirements for customer satisfaction from our Warehouse Team.

<ul>
<li>Prepares and expedites shipments</li>
<li>Determines method and mode of shipment based on customer requirements</li>
<li>Compares identifying information on outgoing shipments to verify product and counts match outbound shipment documentation.</li>
<li>Maintain the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment</li>
<li>Follow labeling requirements for each customer</li>
<li>Proper operation of material handling equipment to safety and production requirements</li>
<li>Perform other related duties as assigned</li>
</ul>
Role qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High School Graduate or GED equivalent</li>
<li>Operation of Forklift and Cherry Picker</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret documents</li>
<li>Provide quality control for all outbound orders for accuracy.</li>
<li>Ability to pass background and drug/alcohol test</li>
</ul><ul><li>Previous warehouse experience preferred.</li>
<li>Clean and active driving record</li>
<li>Time management to complete all regularly scheduled tasks on a timely basis.</li>
<li>Ability to lift 50 lbs.</li>
</ul>
Essential skills and experience:
<ul><li>Organized and time management skills</li>
<li>With minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems.</li>
<li>Ability to interpret packing slip.</li>
<li>Must be able to fill out bills of lading and be familiar with various forms that are used and required by the major freight carriers</li>
<li>Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements</li>
<li>Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li>

<ul>
<li>Warehouse experience</li>
<li>UPS Worldship knowledge/FED EX Manager knowledge</li>
</ul>
