EDUCATION:</div><div>
All first-class Craftsmen shall exhibit the competency of the &quot; NCCER Curriculum&quot; through Level IV and meet the relative S&amp;B job description for their specified craft.</div><p></p><div><br>
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:</div><div>
Minimum of four (4) years industry related experience with a minimum of one (1) year as a Millwright in refinery, chemical, petrochemical, or similar industrial plant construction or maintenance, performing the work described herein. Must be able to perform work within precise limits or standards of accuracy, make decisions based on measured criteria, read and understand drawings and specifications, visualize objects in three dimensions from flat drawings read, understand, and communicate safety instructions, signs and labels, be able to follow and communicate instructions, both verbally and written, and pass a craft-specific test.</div><div></div><div><br>

TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</div><ul><li>
Reads blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.</li><li>
Dismantles machines using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other hand tools.</li><li>
Moves machinery and equipment using hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks.</li><li>
Assembles and installs equipments, such as shafting, conveyors and monorails using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>
Constructs foundations for machines using hand tools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel.</li><li>
Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers and plumb bobs.</li><li>
Assembles machines and bolts, welds, rivets or otherwise fastens them to foundation or other structures using hand tools and power tools.</li><li>
May operate engine lathe to grind, file, and turn machine parts to dimensional specifications.</li><li>
May repair and lubricate machines and equipment.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</div><div>
Must work easily and skillfully with hands, lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, see well (either normally or with correction), hear well (either naturally or with correction) in order to recognize safety alarms and signals and the various sounds of danger associated with construction or maintenance projects, climb and maintain balance on high ladders and scaffolds, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl, maneuver in tight working quarters, and work outdoors in extreme weather conditions associated with refinery, chemical or petrochemical facilities. Must be medically cleared for respirator usage. Must be able to wear properly fitting respirators.</div><br>

Must Constantly wear fall protection equipment, about 5 lbs., when leaving the ground to work in any area.</li><li>
A person&rsquo;s weight and tools/equipment including clothing must comply with manufacturer&rsquo;s specifications and/or restrictions related to use of ladders and/or fall protection equipment.</li><li>
Must be able to climb various heights.</li><li>
Project Manager must approve all variances based on availability of work not requiring fall protection equipment.</li></ul><div></div><div><br>

WORK ENVIRONMENT:</div><div>
