Bose College is seeking a committed and competent Biology Lecturer to deliver high-quality Biology instruction at the college level. The role requires effective classroom teaching, practical laboratory instruction, student mentoring, and active participation in academic and institutional activities.Key Responsibilities:Teaching &amp; Academic Duties<ul><li>Teach Biology theory and practicals as per prescribed syllabus</li><li>Prepare lesson plans and teaching-learning materials</li><li>Conduct laboratory sessions, experiments, and demonstrations</li><li>Use innovative teaching methods and educational technology</li><li>Foster scientific thinking, curiosity, and conceptual clarity</li><li>Provide academic support and mentoring to students</li></ul>Assessment &amp; Evaluation<ul><li>Prepare and evaluate internal assessments, assignments, and practical records</li><li>Maintain attendance, academic records, and student progress reports</li></ul>Institutional Responsibilities<ul><li>Participate in departmental meetings and academic planning</li><li>Assist in organizing seminars, workshops, exhibitions, and academic events</li><li>Support institutional initiatives, documentation, and quality processes</li><li>Participate in co-curricular and extension activities as assigned</li></ul>Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):Educational Qualifications<ul><li>Graduate or Post Graduate in Biology / Zoology / Botany / Life Sciences or relevant field</li><li>B.Ed. degree is mandatory</li><li>Experience in teaching College is preferred</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Teaching experience at Junior College / College level preferred</li><li>Fresh graduates/postgraduates with strong subject knowledge may apply</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies:<ul><li>Strong command over Biology concepts and laboratory practices</li><li>Effective communication and classroom management skills</li><li>Student-focused and activity-based teaching approach</li><li>Ability to use ICT tools and smart classroom technology</li><li>Professional ethics and collaborative attitude</li></ul>Employment Type:Full-Time / Part-TimeSalary:As per college normsJob Type: Full-timePay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per monthWork Location: In person
