IX Professional Services &ndash; Lead Delivery Engineer - Java
Join a team of experts working with airlines to build solutions on top of the Intelligence Exchange Platform. Work with multiple airline business units to solve real problems and design and implement solutions that bring value rapidly.
Sabre Intelligence Exchange is a fast data platform enabling real-time event processing, real-time enrichment of data and real-time business actions. It is an agility platform enabling Airlines to significantly improve time-to-market and reduce application development cost.
We work with some of the biggest brands in the Airline Industry in various locations around the globe. Our Professional Services team is based in Reykjav&iacute;k and Bangalore.
Job Description
<ul><li>Design analyzers and applications running on top of the IX platform.
</li><li>Implement (in Java) analyzers and applications using the IX APIs.
</li><li>Consult customers and internal Sabre teams on best practices developing on top of IX platform.
</li><li>Train customer development teams on IX APIs and platform usage.
</li><li>Work in a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals.
</li><li>Use agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) to design and implement IX applications.
</li></ul>Job Requirements
<ul><li>Minimum 5 years of Java development experience.
</li><li>Intimate knowledge of IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA and/or Eclipse.
</li><li>Good knowledge of Java build environments and tools such as Maven and Nexus

<div>Your role:
<ul><li>To work alongside a specialist group of cross functional experts to identify, investigate and execute a plan or path to resolution leading to accelerated sales success
</li><li>You will consult identified strategic businesses across the Middle East region to position Sabre as a true technology partner and leader
</li><li>You will offer guidance across multiple functions/business units underpinned by data, analytics, segmented requirements and technology performance.
</li></ul>You are expected to:
<ul><li>Demonstrate a deep understanding of the industry ecosystem, customer ownership structures, personas and future strategies.
</li><li>Determine and understand customer critical business issues to present and demonstrate Sabre&rsquo;s capabilities as the best possible technology solution for a long term and mutually beneficial partnership.
</li><li>Define what is needed to deliver the value that business decision makers seek and communicate how these planned changes will deliver tangible value and measurable benefits.
</li><li>Use your critical thinking to assess current ways of working and identify opportunities for improvement as well as creativity to propose business solutions that add value in conjunction.
</li><li>Demonstrable experience in leading, managing and delivering value add solutions and strategies including managing complex stakeholder mapping through influence, perseverance and application of trusted change methodologies.
</li><li>Use your experience of successful transformation projects to unlock enhanced solutions in large complex organisations. Equip and support internal and external individuals and wider teams to fully realise the people and business benefits of transformational changes.
</li><li>Stay informed of industry trends and emerging market opportunities to make data-driven decisions.
</li><li>Lead RFQ and RFP processes across the Middle East region
</li><li>Manage internal and customer discussions ranging from technical contributors to C/VP level and present Leadership level overviews and business cases.

</li></ul>What you&rsquo;ll need:
<ul><li>Ability to work across various cultures; fluency in multiple languages English and preferably Arabic will be an advantage.
</li><li>Experience in identifying and capturing new business opportunities while expanding relationships with existing clients to foster long-term engagements.
</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships and influence senior decision-makers.
</li><li>A passion for understanding clients' needs and delivering tailored solutions to help them succeed.
</li><li>A consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth in accordance with assigned individual and team targets.
</li><li>A strong and relevant network across the Middle East region.
