We are looking for a Firmware Engineer with strong expertise in C/C++ on ESP32 to join our R&amp;D team in Islamabad. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Modbus RTU (RS-485/UART), WebSockets, and low-level firmware development, and will be comfortable working directly with hardware.This is an on-site, full-time role (Monday&ndash;Saturday) at our facility in I-9, Islamabad.Important: Candidates must be permanent residents of Islamabad or its neighboring regions and able to commute daily to I-9. Applications from outside this area will be rejected automatically.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Develop and maintain firmware in C/C++ for ESP32 microcontrollers.</li><li>Implement UART/RS-485 communication with Modbus RTU (master/slave).</li><li>Build and maintain WebSocket services for telemetry and control.</li><li>Work with interrupts, timers, and watchdogs for real-time operations.</li><li>Integrate and control motors, fans, IR sensors, and I&sup2;C/SPI devices.</li><li>Manage EEPROM/NVS storage, data persistence, and versioning.</li><li>Debug hardware and firmware issues using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and serial tools.</li><li>Collaborate with hardware engineers to validate board-level designs.</li></ul>Required Skills &amp; Experience<ul><li>Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.</li><li>0-2 years of experience with ESP32 or similar MCUs.</li><li>Fresh Graduates are encouraged to Apply but must Show Sufficient Knowledge or enough work to be considered.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Modbus RTU (RS-485), UART protocols, and CRC error handling.</li><li>Understanding or Experience implementing WebSockets on microcontrollers.</li><li>Familiarity with FreeRTOS, tasks, queues, semaphores, and interrupts.</li><li>Understanding or Experience with EEPROM/NVS, I&sup2;C/SPI peripherals, and motor/stepper drivers.</li><li>Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.</li></ul>Job Details<ul><li>Job Type: Full-time, On-site</li><li>Schedule: Monday &ndash; Saturday (6 days/week)</li><li>Location: I-9, Islamabad (must commute daily)</li><li>Eligibility: Only candidates residing in Islamabad or nearby regions will be considered.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: Rs40,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per monthLocation:<ul><li>Islamabad Gpo (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
