Job Summary We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether in a home, community, or facility setting. This role requires a blend of personal care skills, patience, and the ability to work with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with developmental disabilities.Duties<ul><li>Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.</li><li>Provide personal care and support in various settings including home health, assisted living, and nursing homes.</li><li>Monitor patient health by observing vital signs and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.</li><li>Implement care plans as directed by healthcare providers and assist with medication administration when necessary.</li><li>Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.</li><li>Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.</li><li>Support individuals with disabilities or special needs, including those with Alzheimer&rsquo;s or dementia care requirements.</li><li>Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting clients with mobility challenges.</li><li>Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home care, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.</li><li>Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs is advantageous.</li><li>Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or autism is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team are essential.</li><li>A background in social work or nursing may enhance your qualifications for this role.
