We offer:<ul><li>Competitive pay</li><li>Bonus opportunities for meeting practice goals</li><li>6 weeks of paid time off</li><li>Employee dental benefits</li><li>Medical, vision, life insurance, disability insurance</li><li>401k</li><li>Uniforms provided</li><li>Company-sponsored events</li></ul>Learn more at www.fdhonline.comRESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctor's schedule and patient flow</li><li>Assist the doctors with all dental procedures</li><li>Partner with the team to create an exceptional experience for each patient</li><li>Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as transcribe doctor notes in patient chart</li><li>Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patient's chart</li><li>Discussing diagnosed treatment with the patient</li><li>Maintain sufficient inventory by ordering clinical supplies</li><li>Ensure the practice maintains sufficient inventory by ordering clinical supplies</li><li>Promote and market the company's services and doctors to patients as well as educate patients</li><li>Address patient's questions and/or concerns</li></ul>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS<ul><li>Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program with current CDA certification; or a combination of education and on-the-job training to demonstrate basic chairside dental assisting skills:</li><li>Receiving and preparing patients for dental treatment</li><li>Assisting chairside</li><li>Taking x-rays</li><li>Making temporary crowns and pouring/trimming impressions</li><li>Make custom bleaching trays</li><li>Current x-ray, CPR, and nitrous certifications (or the ability to obtain upon hire)</li><li>Demonstrated ability to work in a professional environment with direct patient contact. This includes demonstrating an outgoing and friendly demeanor, greeting patients with a smile as welcomed guests to the practice.</li><li>Basic knowledge of dentistry and ability to educate patients regarding their dental health</li><li>Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced team environment. This includes learning quickly and accepting constructive feedback.
