You could be considered for multiple opportunities over time.Position Overview:We're building a pool of accurate, dependable Bookkeepers who can manage day-to-day financial records remotely for US-based companies. The most active industries hiring for this role include finance/accounting firms, home services, real estate, property management, and construction, but demand is cross-industry.Depending on your experience, you could be matched to standard bookkeeping roles (transaction recording, reconciliations, AP/AR) or senior bookkeeping roles (full-charge bookkeeping, multi-client management, month-end close). The common thread is clean books, timely work, and strong QuickBooks skills.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate books.</li><li>Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.</li><li>Process invoicing, expense tracking, and receipt management.</li><li>Support payroll processing and coordination when needed.</li><li>Prepare month-end close entries and basic financial reports (P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow).</li><li>Maintain organized records in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).</li><li>Assist with tax preparation documentation and audit support.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>2+ years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role.</li><li>Proficient with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop). Xero experience is also accepted.</li><li>Solid understanding of reconciliations, AP/AR, and basic accounting principles.</li><li>Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills.</li><li>Accurate, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple clients or accounts.</li><li>Strong written and verbal English.</li><li>Reliable internet and a quiet home office setup.</li><li>Able to work US business hours.</li></ul>Nice-to-Haves:<ul><li>Full-charge bookkeeping experience (handling the complete bookkeeping cycle independently).</li><li>Background in finance/accounting firms, home services, real estate, property management, or construction.</li><li>Experience with job costing or project-based accounting.</li><li>Familiarity with Bill.com, Gusto, ADP, or similar payroll/payment tools.</li><li>Multi-client or multi-entity bookkeeping experience.</li><li>Knowledge of US GAAP basics.</li><li>Bilingual English/Spanish.</li></ul>Work Location: Remote
