1. Role OverviewThe Facility &amp; Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient functioning of all resort facilities, utilities, equipment, guest areas, and back-of-house infrastructure. The role ensures that all buildings, villas/rooms, recreational areas, landscaping, pools, and technical systems are well-maintained, energy-efficient, safe, and aligned with resort service standards. The Manager leads preventive maintenance programs and supervises the engineering team to deliver a seamless guest experience.2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Facility &amp; Infrastructure Management<ul><li>Oversee maintenance of buildings, guest rooms, villas, pools, restaurants, recreation areas, spa facilities, and common spaces.</li><li>Ensure operation and upkeep of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, water supply, pumps, generators, STP/ETP, fire-fighting systems, and elevators.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of all resort areas to identify and resolve maintenance issues proactively.</li></ul>B. Preventive &amp; Predictive Maintenance<ul><li>Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and facilities.</li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and checklists.</li><li>Plan predictive maintenance to reduce breakdowns and downtime.</li></ul>C. Team Leadership &amp; Supervision<ul><li>Lead and supervise technicians, electricians, plumbers, pool attendants, gardeners, and housekeeping engineering staff.</li><li>Provide training and development to ensure technical competency and service excellence.</li><li>Allocate manpower, assign daily tasks, and monitor performance.</li></ul>D. Vendor, Contractor &amp; AMC Management<ul><li>Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) for critical systems.</li><li>Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs, refurbishment, or major maintenance projects.</li><li>Negotiate with vendors for technical supplies and ensure compliance with SLAs.</li></ul>E. Budgeting &amp; Inventory Control<ul><li>Prepare and manage facility maintenance budgets.</li><li>Control maintenance expenses and monitor cost-efficiency.</li><li>Oversee inventory management of tools, spare parts, consumables, and equipment.</li></ul>F. Safety, Compliance &amp; Energy Management<ul><li>Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire safety norms, environmental standards, and statutory requirements.</li><li>Implement energy-saving initiatives for water, power, and equipment usage.</li><li>Conduct safety drills and ensure all equipment meets operational safety standards.</li></ul>G. Guest Service Support<ul><li>Respond promptly to guest maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution.</li><li>Coordinate with front office and housekeeping to maintain high guest satisfaction levels.</li><li>Ensure minimal disruption to guests during maintenance activities.</li></ul>H. Reporting &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance reports.</li><li>Maintain records of asset lifecycles, breakdown history, and energy usage.</li><li>Provide updates to management on facility status, major repairs, and improvement initiatives.</li></ul>3. Qualifications &amp; ExperienceEducation<ul><li>Diploma/Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).</li><li>Certification in facilities management or hospitality engineering is a plus.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>7&ndash;15 years of experience in facility/maintenance management, preferably in hotels, resorts, or hospitality properties.</li><li>Strong experience in managing hospitality engineering systems like HVAC, pools, STP/ETP, BMS, and power distribution.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong technical knowledge of building systems, MEP, energy management, and preventive maintenance.</li><li>Leadership and team management skills.</li><li>Guest service orientation and ability to work in a hospitality environment.</li><li>Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to handle emergencies and multitask under pressure.</li></ul>Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: &#8377;42,000.00 - &#8377;45,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Work Location: In person
