 The focus of this role is AP invoice processing, new vendor onboarding, new subcontractor onboarding, assistance with vendor payment selections, and coordinating appropriate invoice approvals. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing financial, administrative, and clerical support in order to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate financial operations. &nbsp;The successful candidate for this position will be self-motivated with a professional attitude, have good communication skills, an ability to prioritize duties, and be a team player. &nbsp;&nbsp;

 Essential Abilities:

 Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background investigation

 Major Duties &amp; Responsibilities:&nbsp;

 General AP functions
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Review, verify, and process invoices (PO and non-PO)
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Sort, code, and enter accounts payable data
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Analyze discrepancies and unpaid invoices
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Coordinate the information requests for/from potential new vendors and subcontractors
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Maintain vendor records within the ERP
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Communicate with vendors regarding problems, discrepancies, and payment disputes
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Coordinate appropriate invoice approvals from within the SAGE organization
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Check, invoice and PO matching
 </li>
 
 <li>
 All related filing
 </li>
 
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Additional functions

 <li>
 Answering inbound phone calls
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Opening and sorting mail
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Filing and performing data entry
 </li>

 Troubleshoot to resolve routine errors and discrepancies

 Assist with special projects
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Abide by all company safety standards

 Education:

 Associate&rsquo;s Degree in accounting required
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting would be a plus
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Accounting experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
 </li>
 
 </ul>
 
 
 
 Skills &amp; Experience:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 
 <li>
 Minimum of one to three years of related work experience (3-5 years preferred)
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills&nbsp;
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Computer skills, especially strong experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
 </li>
 
 <li>
 Experience in ERP/accounting systems would be a plus. (Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Oracle, Sedona, SAP, etc.)
 </li>
