SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Field Property Claims Adjuster. You will play a vital role in providing an outstanding customer experience by leveraging investigative and estimation skills to handle a variety of homeowner claims in a high energy team environment. You will travel to loss sites to conduct damage and coverage assessments and, when appropriate, write estimates for repairs. As a member of the SageSure Field Claims Team you'll have the opportunity to and play a meaningful role in helping our policyholders get back to pre-loss condition. What you'd be doing:
<ul>
<li>Scope and estimate first party homeowners and commercial claims. 
<ul><li>Investigate and evaluate coverage and damage issues, communicating your findings to customers.</li><li>Partner with external parties (contractors, public adjusters, attorneys, etc.) and internal business partners to handle complex claims.</li><li>Identify suspicious losses, recommending SIU review and assist in such investigations, when necessary.</li><li>Handle claims in compliance with all applicable regulations and internal processes.</li><li>Support catastrophe response as needed, to include potential overtime and deployment.</li><li>Any other duties needed to help drive our purpose and fulfill our values</li></ul></li>
</ul>
We're looking for someone who has:
<ul>
<li>3+ years of field property claims experience</li>
<li>Claims Connect/Symbilityestimating experience, including large loss estimation</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Strong organizational abilities</li>
<li>Empathetic interpersonal skills</li>
<li>Adjuster licensed in home state or holds a non-resident license if license notrequired; meets requirements for licensing inadditional states as needed</li>
</ul>
Highly preferred candidates also have:
<ul>
<li>Large/Complex loss estimating and claims handling experience 
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree</li><li>Experience in catastrophe-focused environments</li><li>Professional designations</li></ul></li>

Field Property Claims Adjuster I

<div>Overview:

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Commercial Underwriter who is analytically minded, hands-on and a self-starter who has a deep understanding of commercial businessowners coverage and risk. This individual will make risk decisions based on a thorough analysis of exposures using various underwriting tools. The daily activities including the handling of new business risk referrals, underwriting renewals, reviewing, and making decisions from reports (property inspections/loss reports), all with customer centric agency interaction.

What you'd be doing:
<ul>
<li>Review new and renewal business from our referral system.</li>
<li>Approve or deny requests to bind.</li>
<li>Review property inspection reports and take appropriate underwriting action.</li>
<li>Handle and manage phone calls and written inquiries from agents and referrals from support vendors.</li>
<li>Regularly analyzes market conditions to learn and understand the coastal states commercial insurance environment we serve.</li>
<li>Uses knowledge of the insurance industry to recommend innovation and/or new product or service offerings.</li>
<li>Communicate with IT to resolve agency system related issues.</li>
<li>Deep understanding of commercial insurance practices and regulations to analyze risk eligibility, evaluate prior incurred claims, and make appropriate risk-based decisions using sound underwriting judgement.</li>
<li>Demonstrate successful agency and broker management, including building, maintaining, and managing producer and customer relationships.</li>
<li>Complete ad-hoc projects as assigned.</li>
</ul>
We're looking for someone who has:
<ul>
<li>Minimum four (4) to six (6) years' underwriting experience in commercial lines</li>
<li>Must demonstrate a strong working knowledge of commercial line underwriting procedures and insurance coverage.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data and make an informed, calculated risk decision.</li>
<li>Exceptional verbal and written communicator</li>
<li>Customer service orientated.</li>
<li>Thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.</li>
<li>Comfortable with working under minimal supervision</li>
<li>Possess a strong work ethic and can work individually or as part of a team.</li>
<li>A college degree or equivalent experience and education</li>
<li>Experience working directly with customers, insurance producers, and agents.</li>
<li>Experience working with insurance software and MS Office Suite.</li>
</ul>
Highly preferred candidates also have:
