Job: Banquet and Event Staff 13.00 + TipsReports to: Conference Services Manager and Banquet CaptainSagebrush Inn &amp; Suites is hiring a motivated event staff with a professional attitude and strong work ethic to join our banquets team. Morning, lunch, and evening shifts are available in addition to flexible opportunities based on experience and skills.Summary:A Banquet Staff with Sagebrush Inn &amp; Suites is responsible setting up event venues for events and for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:<ul><li>Set banquet tables and event space to meet function specifications according to BEO</li><li>Ability to work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team.</li><li>Deliver and serve food and beverages, including, but not limited to, meals, condiments and accompaniments</li><li>Anticipate guests&rsquo; needs, respond promptly and, acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day.</li><li>Maintain positive guest relations at all times.</li><li>Be familiar with all hotel services/features and local attractions/activities to respond to guest inquiries accurately.</li><li>Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and, organization of assigned work areas.</li><li>Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner</li><li>Assist fellow team members and other departments wherever necessary to maintain positive working relationships</li><li>Complete side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, polishing silverware, cleaning restrooms, etc.</li><li>Be comfortable asking for help when needed.</li></ul>~The Sagebrush Inn opened in 1929 as a 17-room hotel catering to guests traveling by carriage along the trade route between New York and Arizona. Today, the newly restored Sagebrush Inn &amp; Suites offers a mix of modern comforts and conveniences surrounded by historic Southwestern charm. The property features 156 graciously appointed guestrooms and suites, complimentary breakfast for all stays and delectable onsite dining.
