Responsibilities:
<ul><li>The Quality Control Manager plays a vital role in supporting the project team throughout the entire project lifecycle, from preconstruction planning to project completion.</li><li>
Reviews drawings and submittals with the project team for conformance with project requirements.</li><li>
Communicates regularly with Project Managers to provide quality control updates and advise of issues or problems that may affect progress.</li><li>
Develop site-specific quality procedures and review with Project Engineer as necessary to support the project requirements.</li><li>
Assist jobsite leadership with resolution of client complaints that are quality related.</li><li>
Order and receive needed project materials and equipment as advised.</li><li>
Coordinate and administer weekly quality meetings and/or identification of safety meeting elements relevant to quality.</li><li>
Monitor quality practices daily, along with ongoing inspections to minimize the need for corrections and punch-list items.</li><li>
Implement the delegated authority to stop work in the event of quality issues.</li><li>
Provide direction to the Project Engineer on quality related items and maintain priority on critical path items necessary to keep the project schedule.</li><li>
Monitor subcontractor and vendor performance with respect to timeliness, efficiency, and quality.</li><li>
Prepare and submit comprehensive quality control reports detailing inventory, calibration status, document control logs, ongoing and completed work items, weather conditions, and any emerging quality issues.</li><li>
Provide weekly updates for as-built conditions and continual maintenance of safety logs.</li><li>
Enforce and champion the requirements of the site quality program (including the processing of any required revisions) and other project quality and technical requirements.</li><li>
Coordinate with Project Manager to ensure all project close-out documents are complete and submitted.</li><li>
Act as a Lead Auditor to plan, perform, report quality audits of a variety of construction activities.</li><li>
Perform physical inspection of a variety of discipline activities which may include but not limited to; piping, civil, concrete, fixed and rotating equipment, electrical, control systems, coatings, insulation, and non-destructive testing.</li><li>
Performs additional assignments per Division Manager&rsquo;s request.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other necessary software.</li><li>
Knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations and reporting processes for civil and mining projects.</li><li>
Ability to represent the Company professionally with external organizations and internal stakeholders.</li><li>
Strong leadership skills to manage effectively at all organizational levels.</li><li>
Excellent communication skills.</li><li>
Skill in resolving problems with multiple variables in standardized situations.</li><li>
Strong business judgment and common sense for making recommendations and decisions.</li><li>
Skilled in multi-tasking and thriving in fast-paced, multi-project environments.</li><li>
Ability to meet deadlines.</li><li>
Strong interpersonal skills to engage with all levels of the Company, vendors, clients, and regulatory agencies at jobsites and the Corporate office.</li><li>

Educational and Experience Requirements:</b></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree with major coursework in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management or related field.</li><li>
Minimum of 3 years as a Quality Manager in Heavy Construction and Project environments.</li><li>
Virginia Class II Waste Management Facility Operator license required within the first 6 months of employment.</li></ul><div><b>
