We are committed to respecting the dignity of each member of our community, and we strive to recruit a diverse and talented faculty and staff.Position SummaryThe Engagement Associate is a vital member of the Advancement team, providing comprehensive event administrative support to the Directors of Events and Community Engagement, Development, and Parent and Alumni Engagement. Reporting to the Director of Events and Community Engagement, the Engagement Associate plays a key behind-the-scenes role in advancing Saint Andrew&rsquo;s School's philanthropic and community-building goals. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, service-minded, and eager to contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven team. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. Nights and weekends will be required to support events, as needed.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdvancement &amp; Administrative Support<ul><li>Help track and maintain data, including contact reports, event attendance, giving history, and volunteer engagement.</li><li>Prepare reports, mailing lists, nametags, and other materials in support of donor engagement, cultivation, and solicitation efforts.</li><li>Maintain RSVP lists, compile briefing documents, and help coordinate logistics for Advancement-related events</li><li>Assist in preparing content for Advancement communications, newsletters, stewardship reports, and appeals.</li><li>Assist with executing targeted outreach and segmentation strategies for email and direct mail solicitations.</li><li>Help maintain the Advancement calendar of events.</li></ul>Event &amp; Volunteer Support<ul><li>Support the planning and execution of Advancement events, including but not limited to the Annual Auction, Grandparents Days, and Alumni Reunion Weekend, as well as parent organization meetings and events.</li><li>Assist with event logistics: invitations, event setup and breakdown, signage, name badges, staffing assignments, registration, and on-site execution.</li><li>Coordinate with facilities, catering, and outside vendors for event needs.</li><li>Help manage and steward volunteers, including those engaged with parent organizations, committees, and the Alumni Board.</li><li>Assist in producing and distributing event-related communications (digital and print).</li><li>Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>3+ years of experience in administrative, advancement, or event-related support roles, preferably in an independent school or nonprofit setting.</li><li>Excellent organizational and project management skills with a high attention to detail.</li><li>Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.</li><li>Professionalism, discretion with sensitive information, and a commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks, work both independently and collaboratively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and willingness to learn Raiser&rsquo;s Edge and event management software.</li><li>Availability to work some evenings and weekends to support school events.</li><li>A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and enthusiasm for Saint Andrew&rsquo;s mission and community.</li></ul>Physical Demands: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and bend for the majority of the workday.
