The Trade Sales Representative is a 1099 contractor role responsible for driving new distribution, elevating brand visibility, and strengthening Sake ONO&rsquo;s presence in the San Francisco market. This role focuses on securing new accounts, educating the trade, winning menu placements and LTO features, and developing strong relationships with both on- and off-premise partners. This position will report to the Northern California Area Market Manager.

Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Drive new account acquisition through targeted outreach, in-person visits, and strong brand storytelling.</li><li>
Conduct trade education, tastings, and staff trainings to build awareness and advocacy.</li><li>
Secure menu placements, LTOs, printed cocktails, and BTG features in priority accounts.</li><li>
Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers, bar managers, beverage directors, and retail staff.</li><li>
Execute sampling initiatives to introduce Sake ONO to new buyers and key decision-makers.</li><li>
Support visibility through merchandising, menu integrations, and trade follow-up.</li><li>
Track activity, submit invoices, and report weekly updates to the Area Market Manager.</li></ul>
Scope of Services &amp; Objectives:
This role is responsible for driving measurable, sustainable growth in the San Francisco market by:<ul><li>
Conducting frequent account visits and samplings</li><li>
Educating trade partners and staff</li><li>
Securing new points of distribution</li><li>
Winning menu placements and LTO opportunities</li><li>
Building and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business</li></ul>
Compensation Structure:
Hourly Compensation<ul><li>
$50/hour (adjusted based on experience)</li><li>
Maximum payout: $1,000/week</li><li>
Invoices for hours and mileage must be submitted via Bill.com</li></ul>
Performance Bonuses<ul><li>
$50 per new POD (Point of Distribution)</li><li>
$25 per physical case sold within 30 days of POD</li><li>
$200 bonus for an approved printed cocktail featuring Sake ONO (photo required)</li></ul>
Maximum potential payout: $275 per POD/menu placement in target accounts
Requirements:

Deliverables &amp; Performance Expectations:To be completed within mutually agreed-upon timelines:<ul><li>
50 new account visits within a 2-month period</li><li>
40 samplings with new or existing accounts within a 2-month period</li><li>
10 menu placements, printed cocktails, or BTG listings per quarter</li></ul></div>
