 Position Overview
 
 
 
 We&rsquo;re seeking a Full-Time General Dentist to join our Latham team in late March 2026. You&rsquo;ll deliver high-quality, comprehensive dental care&mdash;including preventive, restorative, and cosmetic treatments&mdash;to patients of all ages in a modern, supportive setting.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Perform routine care (exams, fillings, extractions, root canals).
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead treatment planning and present procedures professionally.
 </li>
 <li>
 Place dental implants, crowns, bridges, veneers, and provide orthodontic devices like Invisalign&reg;.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage pediatric and family dentistry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff.
 </li>
 <li>
 Handle dental emergencies and same-day care.
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain accurate patient records.
 </li>
 <li>
 Pursue professional growth via continuing education.

 Qualifications
 
 
 
 
 Required Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
 </li>
 <li>
 Active New York State dental license.
 </li>
 <li>
 DEA certificate.
 </li>
 <li>
 2+ years of experience in general dentistry preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in restorative, preventive, cosmetic, and implant dentistry.
 </li>
 <li>
 Comfortable offering Invisalign&reg;, Six Month Smiles&reg; preferred.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong patient communication skills and a compassionate approach.
 </li>
 <li>
 Commitment to continuing education and use of modern dental tech.
 </li>
