Role PurposeTo design, code, and optimise Odoo ERP solutions that enable automation, scalability, reliable integration and leverage emerging technologies such as AI/ML across Salvone&rsquo;s business units.What You&rsquo;ll Own<ul><li>Develop, test, and maintain Odoo modules (core + custom) using Python, XML, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL.</li><li>Translate business requirements into clean, scalable, upgrade-safe code.</li><li>Build, test, and deploy integrations with third-party systems (Sage Payroll, Biotime, Power BI, etc.).</li><li>Explore opportunities to integrate AI/ML-driven features within Odoo workflows to improve automation and reporting.</li><li>Participate in requirement workshops across business units to capture needs and define automation priorities.</li><li>Assist in mapping business needs into Odoo&rsquo;s technical feasibility.</li><li>Prepare technical documentation, test scripts, and track changes.</li><li>Debug and resolve issues reported by users.</li><li>Implement monitoring and troubleshoot incidents.</li><li>Maintain SOPs, documentation, and version control.</li><li>Support testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.</li><li>Deliver clean, upgrade-safe code aligned with business requirements.</li><li>Safeguard upgradeability and reduce dependency on external vendors.</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Bring<ul><li>Strong knowledge of Odoo (framework, workflows, custom modules).</li><li>Hands-on development experience with recent Odoo versions (v14 or later), with ability to manage upgrades and backward compatibility.</li><li>Technical stack: Python, PostgreSQL, XML, JavaScript, version control.</li><li>Experience with system integrations and data migrations.</li><li>Solid understanding of ERP processes across finance, HR, operations etc.</li><li>Exposure to AI/ML integration within ERP ecosystems, such as using predictive models for reporting, workflow optimisation, or automation. (Desirable)</li><li>Collaborative, solution-focused working style.</li></ul>The EssentialsMinimum 5 years years of dedicated Odoo development experience, preferably including:<ul><li>At least 2&ndash;3 full upgrade or migration cycles</li><li>Multi-entity ERP work</li><li>Hands-on integration with other systems (Payroll, HRIS, BI, etc.)</li></ul>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilityJob Type: Full-time
