You can be a part of a highly professional Donor Ministries team. As a <b>Visitor Relations &amp; Events Representative,</b> you will serve in a front-line role within Donor Ministries contacting donors (by phone or in writing). You will work alongside the Events Manager to ensure that the Gear Store is covered. You will also assist in the management of the invitation process, including obtaining invitation lists and generating necessary correspondence. A day in the life of a Visitor Relations &amp; Events Representative:</b></div><div></div><div><br>

In the role of <b>Visitor Relations &amp; Events Representative,</b> you will have the opportunity to:</div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Jesus Christ</li><li>
Display and restock merchandise for the North Wilkesboro campus Gear Store when needed</li><li>
Serve as the primary coverage of the North Wilkesboro campus Gear Store to ensure the store is open at scheduled hours. Support the Gear Store team at conferences and locations where a Gear Store may be displayed</li><li>
Maintain and manage event timelines and files. Represent Samaritans Purse at events and conferences, as needed</li><li>
Manage the RSVP process for all events with a registration component handled by Donor Ministries. Work with Events Manager and Event Logistics Specialist to track and manage all event and speaking requests that come through Donor Ministries</li><li>
Answer phones, proactively interacting with callers in a warm, professional and positive manner, fielding general questions, and taking requests for information. Determine the callers need and route the call to the appropriate person or department</li><li>
Receive guests, vendors and other visitors, making them welcome and creating a positive work environment. Follow the guest procedure by connecting the visitor with the most appropriate department or staff member. Assist guests, vendors and salespersons with Electronic Visitor Registration</li><li>
During emergencies, assist with communications to Facilities, Security or Emergency Services. Provide coverage for other buildings as needed.</li><li>
Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual</li><li>
Attend daily morning devotions and participate in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers</li><li>
Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public</li><li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Associates Degree and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required</li><li>
General knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, Avaya CMS, ACRM, and other related office support software or equipment</li><li>
Poised, alert, hospitable presence, and a servant-hearted demeanor</li><li>
Exceptional customer service skills</li><li>
Strong computer skills</li><li>
Ability to take initiative to ensure job duties are completed timely and accurately</li><li>
Ability to respond to a changing work environment with changing priorities</li><li>

In this role, you will work with the Procurement Manager to support Samaritans Purse North American Disaster Relief (NADR) staff, to complete purchase requisitions, obtain competitive bids, and assist in facilitating Gift In Kind (GIK) donations. In the role of <b>Procurement Specialist</b>, you will have the opportunity to:</p><p>
</p><ul><li>
Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.</li><li>
Assist the Procurement manager with the Procurement of materials, equipment, tools, parts, and services for NADR.</li><li>
Assist the support and research of equipment purchases and supply orders and execute all required transactional paperwork in a time sensitive manner.</li><li>
Assist with the maintenance of the detailed records of bids, quotes, and analyses associated with procurement activities.</li><li>
Develop and maintain inventory listing of all tools, supplies, and equipment on NADR trucks, DRVs, and trailers for use in ordering and restocking.</li><li>
Oversee the preparation and issuance of requisition requests. Review requisitions and contracts for conformance to ministry policy.</li><li>
Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers. Maintain current information on companies that provide all types of tools, equipment, and supplies that support the department.</li><li>
Analyze current inventory with Warehouse Coordinator against requests from field and local assets, and place orders to replenish stocks in Annex, Ministry Centers, or sites.</li><li>
Work with vendors for potential GIK donations and record GIK donations given to NADR.</li><li>
Analyze and prepare reports associated with procurement and inventory. Create active working files, e-files, and summaries for each project.</li><li>

Qualifications &amp; Experience</b>:</p><p>
</p><ul><li>
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university and one (1) to two (2) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience</li><li>
Thorough knowledge of the field of procurement and inventory software, and Microsoft Office programs such as Excel, Word, and Access</li><li>
Ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with all key stakeholders, vendors, customers, and colleagues</li><li>
Ability to visualize, articulate, and solve both complex and uncomplicated problems and concepts and make decisions based on all available information. Particularly important in the selection of vendors</li><li>
Time management skills to ensure efficiency in service delivery</li><li>
Ability to obtain and keep current a DOT medical card</li><li>
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ministry inventory management People Soft software and other organizational computer applications.</li><li>
Ability to learn/cross train in other roles to assist as volume dictates.</li><li>
