 Perform incoming and outgoing inspection on LAV Turrets
 </li>

 Operate , integrate within, and repair LAV turrets
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide technical, test and repair support
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct retrofits and upgrades on turrets
 </li>
 <li>
 Maintain safe work practices
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 REQUIREMENTS
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 College diploma, in a mechanical/electrical discipline, and/or
 </li>
 <li>
 previous Military experience in turret maintenance and support of
 </li>
 <li>
 direct and indirect fire weapons systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Minimum 2 &ndash; 4 years relevant experience
 </li>
 <li>
 Familiar with LAV turret maintenance and processes
 </li>
 <li>
 Military Fire Control Systems (FCS) or Weapons Technician
 </li>
 <li>
 qualification QL5 or above (Preferred)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and
 </li>
 <li>
 schematics
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong communication, organization and prioritization skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven ability to perform well in a team environment with minimal
 </li>
 <li>
 supervision
 </li>

Turret Technician

 KEY TASKS
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Act as the point of contact to the customer in managing the day to day material support activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Analyze, amend and maintain material management data critical for effective &amp; efficient inventory management
 </li>
 <li>
 Advise on supply issues that may impact fleet availability including critical items
 </li>
 <li>
 Electronically order &amp; receive material
 </li>
 <li>
 Perform supply support management operations
 </li>
 <li>
 Assist with Special Tool and Test Equipment (STTE) distribution planning and tracking.
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare various management and logistical reports
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 REQUIREMENTS
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Minimum 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in material logistics
 </li>
 <li>
 College diploma, in a mechanical/electrical discipline, and/or previous Military experience in turret maintenance and support of direct and indirect fire weapons systems
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with the LAV product and military chassis
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong decision making ability
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to operate independently while maintaining company safety, quality, and integrity standards
 </li>
