Busy litigation firm searching for a talented paralegal/legal secretary to work full-time in a fast paced environment. The position includes traditional paralegal tasks, as well as administrative functions such as creating discovery shells, maintaining up to date electronic files, calendaring and State and Federal court filings.Requirements:<ul><li>At least 5 years' experience in a litigation focused law firm (no PI, family law or worker's comp);</li><li>Litigation skills and in depth knowledge of general filing and calendaring procedures in Federal and State court;</li><li>Practical knowledge of timekeeping and client billing;</li><li>Exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines;</li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word is a must, including the use of styles and the creation and formatting of pleadings and other documents, including appeals briefs, and tables of contents and authorities;</li><li>Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people of varying skills, responsibilities, and backgrounds; and</li><li>Exceptional grammar, spelling, redlining and proofreading skills.</li></ul>The successful candidate will be proactive, reliable, diligent, customer service oriented, energetic and reliable.Job Type: Full-timePay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per yearBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Costa Mesa, CA 92626
