<div>Sbarro at San Antonio International Airport is hiring immediately for Team Members including Pizza Makes, Prep Cooks, Servers, and Cashiers to join their team! Please note this job opportunity is located in the San Antonio International Airport. There will be a background screening process in order to obtain a badge to work in the airport. 
Reporting to the General Manager, the Team Member provides front-line service to Sbarro guests in an enthusiastic, friendly, outgoing, clean and safe manner. While each team member is hired for a primary position (such as Server / Cashier, Pizza Maker, Steam Cook / Prep, Dishwasher), due to sales volume fluctuations in any given restaurant and the various station responsibilities, each team member may be asked to assist in fulfilling other position duties. It is desirable that each Team Member be cross-trained in each duty. 
<ul><li>
Must serve customers within their assigned station, following prescribed methods and within prescribed standards for guest service. This includes greeting, enhancing sales through purchase suggestions to customers, proper serving procedure, checking for guest satisfaction in accordance with the standards established for guest satisfaction and recipe compliance.</li><li>
Maintains product knowledge, knows the ingredients, presentation, price of all menu items and specials.</li><li>
Receives payment for all transactions following prescribed methods and with prescribed standards for guest service.</li><li>
Follows all required procedures outlined in Sbarro cash handling policy.</li><li>
Demonstrates full working knowledge of Sbarro point-of-sale register system.</li><li>
Completes cleaning and stocking duties in accordance with the appropriate daily operating procedure.</li><li>
Practices food safety and sanitation standards required of foodservice establishments.</li><li>
Follows established cost control systems, including employee food policy and waste guidelines.</li><li>
Assists other team members when required.</li><li>
Responsible for the proper use of gloves, utensils, and portion size of each item, temperature of hot food, and the attractive presentation of all food.</li><li>
Communicates in a timely manner with the co-workers and management regarding the amount of food on hand and its quality.</li><li>

Team Member

<div>The Fast-Food Attendant is responsible for performing a variety of duties within a fast food / snack bar establishment which may include completing customer transactions, cleaning the food or stock areas, assisting in the kitchen area, and maintaining inventory; performs all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management. This is a non-exempt position. 
Essential Functions:<ul><li>Greets customers and takes food order; provides information about menus; looks for opportunity to &ldquo;up-sell&rdquo; products.</li><li>Operates cash register and receives payment from customer in cash or credit card, accurately counts and provides change to customers as required, and follows all HMS Host customer service and cash handling policies and procedures</li><li>Cleans and stocks work area</li><li>Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying the accuracy of transactions and operate equipment with peripheral electronic data processing. Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas by hand or cart</li><li>Assists with a variety of kitchen-related functions as needed</li><li>Receives inventory, moves and lifts food and beverage products and supplies; maintain a solid knowledge of product and services available in unit</li><li>Ensures proper food handling procedures are followed including wrapping, labeling, dating, stocking, storing, rotating and checking temperature of products</li><li>Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment</li></ul> 
Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Work Environment:<ul><li>Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner</li><li>Requires the ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions</li><li>Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.</li><li>Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, as well as converse comfortably with customers</li><li>Cash handling and customer service experience preferred</li></ul>
