The Cosmetologist is responsible for providing quality, professional service in the administration of hair and nail services to guests of the spa.
</div>Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Must be able to perform various types of haircuts, color and styles and continue to be proficient in all current trends.
</li><li>Must be able to provide current, quality professional nail services and be proficient in all current trends.</li><li>
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the facilities including ensuring facility/amenities are in proper working order.</li><li>
Provide Spa tours as necessary.</li><li>
Promote and sell Spa approved products.</li><li>
Check appointment schedule and print daily activities as required as well as complete daily reports.</li><li>
Ensure inventory control through proper usage of products.</li><li>
Maintain passing scores on treatment inspections.</li><li>
Maintain current license and certifications as required.</li><li>
Assist with front desk or locker room functions, as necessary.</li></ul>
Qualifications:
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Minimum of 1000 hours of education.</li><li>
License or certification from accredited school of cosmetology required.</li><li>
Fulfillment of current State licensing requirements.</li><li>
Two years experience in cosmetology preferred.</li><li>
One year spa experience preferred.</li><li>
Knowledge of additional skills of cosmetology preferred.</li><li>
Bi-lingual preferred.</li><li>
CPR Certification preferred</li></ul></div>
