<div>Swift Textile Metalizing (STM) is seeking a Site Controller responsible for managing financial analysis and accounting operations, including preparing financial reports, maintaining accounting records, and overseeing the processing of financial transactions.
This role is responsible for maintaining a comprehensive system of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of financial reporting, and ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and/or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Site Controller prepares consolidated financial results for management reporting and serves as a key financial partner to operational leadership.
The Site Controller reports directly to the Vice President &amp; General Manager.

Key Responsibilities<ul><li>
Manage accounting operations including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Inventory/Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition, ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and within established deadlines.</li><li>
Oversee the monthly accounting close process, with support from the shared services accounting team, including analytical review of operating results to ensure accurate financial reporting.</li><li>
Refine, maintain, and develop recommendations to ensure the integrity of the standard cost system, including analysis and reporting on:<ul><li>
Material costs and labor/overhead rates</li><li>
Standard costs vs. actual manufacturing costs</li><li>
Cost of sales, cost trends, and drivers of cost fluctuations</li><li>
Purchase price variance (PPV) and manufacturing variances</li><li>
Labor efficiency dashboards by value stream</li><li>
Excess and obsolete inventory</li><li>
Scrap rates, returns, manufacturing expenses, and depreciation</li></ul></li><li>
Analyze profit and loss statements and manufacturing variance reports to identify cost drivers and opportunities for improvement.</li><li>
Develop value stream income statements to support operational decision-making.</li><li>
Ensure inventory accuracy through coordination of cycle counts, annual physical inventory, WIP reviews, and reserve analysis.</li><li>
Manage capital projects and forecast related cash flow impacts.</li><li>
Assist in the preparation and review of the annual operating budget and periodic forecasts, including income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow projections.</li><li>
Prepare and review a full set of financial statements, providing recommendations to improve business operations based on financial analysis.</li><li>
Support the annual external audit process.</li><li>
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.</li><li>
Review accruals and provisions on a periodic basis.</li><li>
Lead account reconciliations for auxiliary and subsidiary accounts.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to provide interpretation of financial reports and analytical findings.</li></ul><div></div> 
Qualifications
Education:<div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting required.</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree or CPA preferred.</li></ul></div>
Experience<ul><li>
Minimum 8 years of accounting experience</li><li>
Minimum 5 years as a facility Controller or equivalent role</li><li>
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred</li><li>
Experience in aerospace and/or low-volume, high-mix manufacturing environments preferred</li><li>
Experience with Government Contracting and FAR/TINA requirements is a plus</li></ul><div></div> 
Skills<ul><li>
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, ERP systems, and automated financial reporting tools</li><li>
Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial regulatory standards</li><li>
Understanding of economic and banking processes</li><li>
Demonstrated ability to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and implement process improvements</li><li>
Experience developing financial controls, reporting structures, and operational performance metrics</li></ul><div></div>

Assist the Quality Team with internal and external audits, including regulatory audits, and support end-of-year audit overviews.</li><li>
Support root cause investigations of internal or external non-conformances using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, DOE, or similar.</li><li>
Work effectively in a team environment while also performing independently when needed.</li><li>
Communicate clearly across all levels, designing and explaining concepts and requirements, and instructing colleagues when necessary.</li><li>
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and environmental procedures; report safety incidents to supervisors.</li><li>
Support MRB &amp; MRB walk activities, communicating results to the Quality Team and relevant value streams.</li><li>
Serve as the key focal for internal change board and management of change processes.</li><li>
Identify, document, and recommend improvements to work processes and procedures. Lead initiatives such as 6S, Shelf Life Material, and FOD Programs/Audits.</li><li>
Deliver high-level service to internal and external customers, contributing to a positive team environment.</li><li>
Participate in training and cross-training within the QA function, performing other duties as assigned.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader"> 
Qualifications</h3>

2&ndash;5 years in a Manufacturing or Quality function</li><li>
Experience in a Job Shop environment is highly preferred</li></ul>
