General Purpose:
The Recreation Attendant is responsible to provide courteous and competent service to guests and observe all activities within assigned areas offering assistance/instruction to guests. The Recreation Attendant with rotate throughout the recreation departments.
Essential Duties:<ul><li>Attendant will assist in the daily operations of our rental facilities. Tasks will include customer service, inventory control, facility maintenance, and precision money handling.</li><li>Welcomes visitors and answers incoming telephone calls.</li><li>Notifies patrons of activity schedules and registration requirements.</li><li>Receives, stores, and issues rental equipment and supplies.</li><li>Ensuring all equipment is in a safe working order before providing to guest.</li><li>Acting in a courteous, helpful and efficient manner when dealing with owners and guests.</li><li>Do daily maintenance on facility and keep the facility in pristine working order.</li><li>Communication with management about task that they believe require assistance.</li><li>Ability to operate all of our Business Units&rsquo;s (once trained) to include but not limited to; Bike Shop, Dunes Putting Course, Carousel, Health Club Desk Attendant, Groups Team Building.</li></ul>
Education:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Basic Required Skills:<ul><li>Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.</li><li>Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.</li><li>Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Valid driver&rsquo;s license that has been in effect for at least three years, with no major violations and no more than two minor violations in the past three years.</li><li>May be required: to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form; to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.</li></ul>
Physical Demands:<ul><li>Most work tasks are performed primarily outdoors in the natural environment as well as indoor as needed.</li><li>Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 5 hours in length.</li><li>Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill tasks.</li><li>Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.</li><li>Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.</li><li>Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 200 lbs. if needed.</li><li>Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity.</li><li>Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.</li><li>Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.</li><li>Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.</li></ul>

General Purpose</h3>
The Recreation Leader oversees daily recreational activities, ensuring safe, engaging, and well-organized experiences for guests of all ages. This role provides leadership to attendants, coordinates recreation programs, and ensures smooth operations across various resort activity areas.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>
Lead, train, and support recreation attendants to deliver exceptional guest service.</li><li>
Oversee the daily operations of recreational facilities including bike rentals, the Dunes Putting Course, carousel, health club desk, and team-building activities.</li><li>
Coordinate schedules, activity registration, and communication of recreation offerings to guests.</li><li>
Ensure all rental equipment and facilities are maintained, safe, and guest-ready at all times.</li><li>
Greet and engage with guests in a professional, energetic, and courteous manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.</li><li>
Handle guest inquiries, phone calls, and activity registrations.</li><li>
Monitor inventory, manage money handling processes, and ensure proper record-keeping.</li><li>
Communicate with management regarding operational needs, equipment concerns, or guest feedback.</li><li>
Assist with and lead group recreation programs, events, and activities, fostering a fun and safe environment.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Education &amp; Experience</h3><ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.</li><li>
One or more years of recreation, hospitality, or guest service experience preferred.</li><li>
Previous leadership or supervisory experience a plus.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Required Skills</h3><ul><li>
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fun and professional environment.</li><li>
Must be able to speak, read, and write in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license with at least three years of good driving history.</li><li>
Ability to solve problems and make sound decisions in standardized situations.</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Physical Requirements</h3><ul><li>
Work performed primarily outdoors with some indoor responsibilities.</li><li>
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 5 hours at a time).</li><li>
