Essential Functions:
As a maintenance technician with Sandhurst, you will:<ul><li>
Understand and follow proper safety procedures for company and community, including maintaining cleanliness and protection of work spaces</li><li>
Uphold all company policies, goals, and values</li><li>
Perform on-site maintenance functions</li><li>
Assist supervisor in completing assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner</li><li>
Make available apartments ready for move-in</li><li>
Report any maintenance problems to the supervisor</li><li>
Participate in an ongoing community maintenance and improvement plan</li><li>
Maintain physical condition of the community</li><li>
Follow-up on service requests to assure the highest quality customer satisfaction</li><li>
Assist in the achievement of the community&rsquo;s annual budget plan by controlling expenses</li><li>
Perform other responsibilities falling under the maintenance technician role as directed</li></ul> 
Qualifications:
To join Sandhurst as a maintenance technician, you&rsquo;ll need to:<ul><li>
Have a high school diploma or equivalent (technical school preferred)</li><li>
Be HVAC certified</li><li>
Hold CPO certification</li><li>
Have effective verbal communication skills</li><li>
Possess general knowledge of all aspects of maintenance repair and service</li><li>
Have one year&rsquo;s experience in maintenance (apartment maintenance preferred)</li><li>
Be able to work weekends, after hours, and/or holidays</li></ul>
