Manages survey activities for the performance and work accomplishment of all projects/contracts.</li><li>
Coordinates with all project members, attending/running meetings and assuring that all project documentation is maintained including change orders.</li><li>
Relationship development with clients to share progress, level of effort expended.</li><li>
Executes project set-up including reviewing and complying with contract component checklist</li><li>
Develop efficiency gains for team and peers, through mentoring, leading department teaching programs and team building.</li><li>
Monitor team utilization and implement procedures to make positive changes.</li><li>
Maintain awareness of budgets and schedules.</li><li>
Prospect for potential new clients in need of Survey services.</li><li>

What will help you be successful:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering, Geomatics or a relatable field</li><li>
PLS required</li><li>
8+ years&rsquo; experience in construction surveying experience (field &amp; office)</li><li>
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Microsoft Office, and Liquid Planner.</li><li>
Expert understanding of scope and level effort</li><li>
Possess strong problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow through.</li><li>
Ability to effectively communicate (oral and written) with staff, peers, and clients.</li></ul>

Survey Project Manager

<div>Sandis is currently looking for a Design Engineer to join our team in Oakland, CA. Our ideal candidate has experience with civil design, permitting, and applicable software applications including stormwater drainage programs and AutoCAD. Assist with developing improvement plans including rough/finish grading, stormwater management, and utility plans.</li><li>
Design of utility systems including water, sanitary, and storm drain.</li><li>
Assist with fire flow tests.</li><li>
Interact with other members of a design team including Architects, Landscape Architects, and MEP Engineers.</li><li>
Engineering support during construction, including review of material submittals, answering Requests for Information (RFIs), site observations among other things.</li><li>
Conduct engineering assessments.</li><li>
Prepare technical engineering reports.</li><li>
Coordinate with private, public, and governmental agencies.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Civil Engineering</li><li>
1+ years of relevant experience</li><li>
EIT Certification Preferred</li><li>
Familiar with AutoCAD</li><li>
Familiarity and understanding of rough and finish grading plans.</li><li>
Knowledge of utility systems including sanitary sewer, storm drainage, and water distribution.</li></ul>
