Job Purpose:</div><div>
This job is Research and Development of Rock tools at Materials Engineering lab. The role will actively take part in R&amp;D product development activities, Collaborate with global &amp; local engineering projects teams. Support periodic product and process audits. The role will also co-ordinate and work together with product line function in understanding business requirements.</div><div>
To be more specific, your main responsibilities to manage in this position are:</div><ul><li>
Ensure Environment, Health and Safety standards are being practiced at the workplace specific to Materials / Metallurgical lab.</li><li>
Support EHS development activities and contribute to EHS culture development.</li><li>
Implement QEHSSA management systems in the working environment.</li><li>
Conduct research and development activities in Mining and Construction applications.</li><li>
Strong subject knowledge in materials, metallurgical methods &amp; processes.</li><li>
Knowledge of metallurgical special processes like heat treatment, surface engineering, steel making and welding with failure analysis.</li><li>
Hands on experience in using metallography lab equipment for material characterization.</li><li>
Should be capable of concluding the results and sharing with stakeholders.</li><li>
Able to work independently on research projects.</li><li>
Ability to work with global engineering teams.</li><li>
Collaborate with global product development projects.</li><li>
Proficient communication skills to deal with internal and global functions.</li><li>
Problem solving and analytical skills.</li><li>

Your profile:</div><div>
Metallurgical engineering graduate / postgraduate&rsquo;s degree with 6 years of experience from an engineering industry. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years&rsquo; experience in the core area. You have previously worked with strong EHS cultured organizations, and you understand the importance of a diverse workforce and collaborative settings.</div><div>

Engineer - Materials Lab

The role of a Field Service Engineer for Stationary Crushing and Screening equipment encompasses a range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring optimal equipment performance and customer satisfaction.</div><div></div><div>
Key duties include:</div><div>
Service Activities, High understanding of the Crushing &amp; Screening business.</div><ul><li>
Equipment Assembly and Commissioning: Assemble and commission delivered equipment to ensure proper functionality.</li><li>
Repairs and Maintenance: Supervise and perform repairs on machinery or sub-assemblies at customer locations, ensuring timely and effective service.</li><li>
Inspections and Client Prospecting: Conduct routine and warranty inspections to maintain equipment standards and identify potential new clients.</li><li>
Customer Training: Provide training to customer personnel on the proper use and maintenance of Sandvik equipment to enhance operational efficiency.</li><li>
Data Management: Maintain accurate records of equipment and service activities in the database for tracking and analysis.</li><li>
Technical Support and Coordination: Collaborate with the sales department to offer technical support, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. Work closely with Sandvik customers to provide technical consultations; address and resolve customer complaints. Prepare spare parts requests in collaboration with Inside Sales, Sales Engineers and End Customer.</li><li>

Field service technician

<div><div>We are looking for a Customer Service Representative who will support the Middle East Region for Crushing and Screening business by processing sales orders, quotation requests and enquiries for all equipment spare parts, tools and consumable products from customers and distributors. These services include quoting and booking of orders as well as logistic support functions such as following up on dispatches and assisting with documentation.</div><div>
The resource will also support commercial strategies of the sales representatives through agreed complementary commercial activities from the office. For this reason, he/she will develop knowledge of the available products and services to support the Sales and Service team in the management of customers and distributors enquiries from a technical point of view.</div><div></div><div>
Your responsibilities</div><div>
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:</div><ul><li><div>
Provide new and existing customers with the best possible service in relation to billing inquiries, suggestions, and complaints.</div></li><li><div>
Be responsible for handling customer telephone queries, aiming to clarify, orient and direct detected problems toward a solution.</div></li><li><div>
Provide timely responses to customer inquiries by telephone and/or email like product availability, prices, delivery times, and the status of orders, so that enquiries are dealt with promptly and accurately.</div></li><li><div>
Process customer orders, bills and accounts, and applications, initiates maintenance and termination of accounts in system Aurora.</div></li><li><div>
Fulfill all the screening activities for new customers and suppliers according to Sandvik guidelines.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate and track sales leads, monitor the progress of sales activities, and provide regular updates to the Sales and Service team.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinating communication between the dealers and global stakeholders.</div></li><li><div>
Actively monitoring of customer and supplier orders, process sales and invoices so that customer orders are dispatched and invoiced accurately and on time</div></li><li><div>
Communicate with staff from other areas in the organization, such as Production, Warehouse, Outbound Planner, Logistics, Finance to confirm the status of orders and resolve customer complaints.</div></li><li><div>
Troubleshoots and resolves customer complaints.</div></li><li><div>
Asks for quotations to external suppliers and manages the entire project from the quotation to the final purchase.</div></li><li><div>
Maintaining an archive of documentation related to the employee's work, including contracts for the supply of goods, specifications, additional agreements, commercial offers and other documents.</div></li><li><div>
Develops sales skills and knowledge of the products, services, and customers by working closely with a more experienced sales representative to promote products, close orders and resolve problems.</div></li></ul><div></div><div>
