Job Purpose</b></div><div>
Acumen is seeking to appoint an ambitious, target-oriented team player to support a Japanese university's recruitment and engagement efforts in India. The role involves working closely with the client&rsquo;s international office and Acumen&rsquo;s senior team members in South Asia to enhance international engagement and grow student recruitment from India.</div><div>
The primary responsibility is to engage with prospective Indian students, highlighting the university's unique offerings and guiding them through the admissions process. This includes liaising with schools, alumni, and other stakeholders, organizing promotional activities, and supporting marketing campaigns.</div><div>
The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working remotely across time zones. Flexibility for travel and evening/weekend events is expected.</div><div><b>
Key Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li><div>
Represent the university in India and enhance its presence among Indian students and schools.</div></li><li><div>
Engage in marketing and outreach activities including education fairs, webinars, school visits, and alumni networking.</div></li><li><div>
Counsel prospective students and parents about academic programs, admission criteria, and the application process.</div></li><li><div>
Support the client in identifying new marketing opportunities and implementing strategies to enhance visibility.</div></li><li><div>
Develop and maintain relationships with high schools, educational consultants, and other partners.</div></li><li><div>
Coordinate student follow-ups, from initial inquiry to enrollment.</div></li><li><div>
Track and maintain accurate student data in CRM/ERP systems.</div></li><li><div>
Plan and organize online and offline university promotional events in India.</div></li><li><div>
Provide timely feedback and insights on market trends, student preferences, and competition.</div></li><li><div>
Support content creation, including social media and promotional materials tailored to the Indian audience.</div></li><li><div>
Assist with logistical arrangements for client representatives visiting India.</div></li><li><div>
Prepare activity reports and share regular updates with the client.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Information and Reporting</b></div><ul><li><div>
Maintain a comprehensive list of school contacts and event stakeholders.</div></li><li><div>
Record data from recruitment events and maintain accurate time sheets.</div></li><li><div>
Share reports on activity outcomes, student leads, and recommendations.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Other Responsibilities</b></div><ul><li><div>
Participate in client-led training and alignment sessions.</div></li><li><div>
Support administrative coordination for travel, hotel bookings, and events.</div></li><li><div>
Deliver on agreed KPIs and contribute to strategic recruitment targets.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications</b></div><ul><li><div>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree (required); postgraduate degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).</div></li></ul><div><b>
Experience</b></div><ul><li><div>
3-5 years of relevant experience in international education, student counselling, or higher education marketing.</div></li><li><div>
Experience working with or supporting international institutions.</div></li><li><div>
Familiarity with student recruitment strategies and the Indian secondary education landscape.</div></li></ul><div><b>
Skills and Competencies</b></div><ul><li><div>
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).</div></li><li><div>
Strong organizational and planning abilities.</div></li><li><div>
Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.</div></li><li><div>

Understanding of international student recruitment trends and Japanese education offerings (preferred).</div></li></ul><div>
