We're seeking a dedicated and experienced FEMALE / MALE PURCHASE INCHARGE to join our team.mail : hr@sansel.netEXP : FRESHER OR 1 YEAR EXPWORKING LOCATION : MADURAVOYAL , CHENNAIJob Role: Purchase Incharge &ndash; Electronic ComponentsPosition OverviewThe Purchase Incharge is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring electronic components, materials, and accessories required for production, R&amp;D, and service operations. The role ensures timely availability of quality components at competitive prices while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and adhering to organizational policies.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Procurement &amp; Sourcing</li><li>Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of electronic components.</li><li>Source critical components like ICs, semiconductors, passives, connectors, sensors, and PCBs.</li><li>Develop alternate sources to avoid supply chain disruptions.</li><li>Negotiation &amp; Cost Control</li><li>Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.</li><li>Optimize cost savings while maintaining quality standards.</li><li>Monitor market trends and fluctuations in component pricing.</li><li>Inventory &amp; Supply Chain Management</li><li>Coordinate with stores/warehouse for stock monitoring and reorder levels.</li><li>Ensure minimum lead time for critical components.</li><li>Maintain balance between excess stock and shortages.</li><li>Vendor Management</li><li>Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.</li><li>Evaluate supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, delivery, and service.</li><li>Ensure vendors comply with company&rsquo;s quality and procurement standards.</li><li>Documentation &amp; Compliance</li><li>Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) and contracts.</li><li>Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and delivery schedules.</li><li>Ensure compliance with ISO/IEC standards, RoHS, and environmental requirements when applicable.</li><li>Cross-Department Coordination</li><li>Work closely with R&amp;D, Production, and QA teams to understand component requirements.</li><li>Support engineering team with alternate or replacement components when needed.</li><li>Resolve supply-related issues impacting production schedules.</li></ul>Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of electronic components (active, passive, electromechanical, and PCB assemblies).</li><li>Vendor negotiation and relationship management.</li><li>Cost analysis and budgeting.</li><li>ERP/MRP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Tally, or equivalent).</li><li>Documentation and compliance management.</li><li>Problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Diploma/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
