This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your diverse medical expertise in a fast-paced, collaborative setting, making a meaningful difference in patients&rsquo; lives every day.Duties<ul><li>Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and detailed medical histories, to accurately diagnose health conditions.</li><li>Develop and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.</li><li>Perform or oversee specialized procedures</li><li>Manage acute and chronic illnesses across inpatient and outpatient settings, ensuring continuity of care through effective discharge planning and follow-up.</li><li>Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or EMR systems to document patient encounters meticulously and maintain accurate medical records.</li><li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nurses, radiologists, specialists in cardiology, neurology, psychiatry, and other fields to coordinate comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects to advance medical knowledge and enhance patient outcomes.</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine.</li><li>Proven experience in hospital medicine, outpatient care, or specialized fields such as cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, or neurology.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with EHR systems like Epic or other EMR platforms; familiarity with medical imaging interpretation is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical procedures including airway management and IV infusion techniques.</li><li>Experience working within Level I or Level II trauma centers or acute care environments is highly desirable.</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with the ability to perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop effective care plans.</li><li>Basic life support (BLS) certification; additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are advantageous.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure situations while maintaining compassionate patient interactions. We are seeking a dedicated professional eager to make a meaningful difference in community health through proactive care and innovative practices.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct detailed physical examinations and medical assessments for patients of all ages, utilizing clinical expertise to diagnose conditions accurately.</li><li>Manage a broad spectrum of health concerns, including acute illnesses, chronic disease management, preventive care, and health promotion.</li><li>Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Athena and meticulously, ensuring compliance with HIPAA standards.</li><li>Coordinate with specialists in fields like psychiatry, endocrinology, cardiology, ophthalmology, dermatology, and others to facilitate comprehensive patient care.</li><li>Perform procedures including suturing, ostomy care, basic life support, airway management, and other minor interventions within the scope of family medicine.</li><li>Educate patients on health maintenance strategies, lifestyle modifications, medication adherence, and preventive screenings such as immunizations and mammography.</li><li>Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals in inpatient and outpatient settings to optimize patient outcomes and discharge planning.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Medical degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice medicine as a Family Doctor or General Practitioner.</li><li>Proven experience in outpatient primary care settings with familiarity in medical office operations and hospital medicine environments.</li><li>Proficiency with EMR systems like Epic or similar electronic health record platforms; experience with medical coding (CPT/ICD) is advantageous.</li><li>Strong knowledge of physiology, medical terminology, diagnostic radiology, and clinical research methodologies.</li><li>Ability to perform clinical procedures such as suturing, IV infusion, gastric lavage, wound care, and basic diagnostic evaluations confidently.</li><li>Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations; experience in telehealth is a plus.</li><li>Certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and relevant specialty training in areas like pediatrics or geriatrics are preferred.
