The HR Administrator / Associate HR Generalist provides employee-focused support and assistance at the Somerset Mill. The successful candidate will provide general day-to-day administrative and Human Resources support.Essential Function Responsibilities:<ul><li>Support recruitment efforts including, but not limited to, scheduling interviews, making job offers, and coordinating pre-employment testing.</li><li>Registering for career fairs.</li><li>Preparing new hire packets and welcome kits.</li><li>Assist with new hire orientations and safety trainings.</li><li>Provide support in other recruitment and onboarding areas as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Process pre-grievance and grievance payments.</li><li>Scheduling grievance meetings.</li><li>Distributing Union Business releases.</li><li>Produce reports and track absenteeism and tardiness and prepare appropriate documentation.</li><li>Maintain Union Leadership listing for the HR department.</li><li>Provide support in other employee and labor relations areas as needed.</li></ul><ul><li>Maintain both hard and digital copies of employee records.</li><li>Creates and runs ad-hoc employee reports as needed.</li><li>Oversee employee leaves of absence requests such as FMLA, military and personnel leaves.</li><li>Maintain Learning Management System reporting, tracking and assignments.</li><li>Responsible for the administration of service award recognition.</li></ul><ul><li>Assist with all internal and external HR related inquires or request.</li><li>Responsible for the distribution of mill wide postings and record retention of such postings.</li><li>Schedule meetings, HR events, and maintain agendas.</li><li>Assist with payroll.</li><li>Ad-hoc HR projects.</li><li>General day-to-day administrative and Human Resources support, and other duties as assigned.</li></ul>Special Skills/Certifications, etc.:<ul><li>Strong computer skills (knowledge of Microsoft Office required).</li><li>Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner.</li><li>Ability to establish priorities and coordinate work activities.</li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees.</li><li>Ability to work and take direction from several people.</li><li>Self-starter that demonstrates a sense of urgency, follow-up and completion of task.
