RadiographerKey Responsibilities<ul><li>Operating imaging equipment: Radiographers operate various imaging devices, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines, to capture images of the body.</li><li>Positioning patients: They accurately position patients for imaging procedures to ensure optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure.</li><li>Ensuring patient safety: They prioritize patient safety by monitoring patients during procedures, administering medications (if needed), and ensuring proper radiation protection.</li><li>Maintaining patient records: Radiographers maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures, including patient demographics, imaging parameters, and image results.</li><li>Assisting with imaging procedures: They assist with various imaging procedures, such as fluoroscopy (real-time X-ray imaging), contrast studies (using dyes to enhance images), and specialized imaging techniques.</li><li>Collaborating with other healthcare professionals: Radiographers work closely with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible patient care.</li></ul>Specific Tasks May Include:<ul><li>Preparing patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process, and addressing their concerns.</li><li>Calibrating and maintaining imaging equipment.</li><li>Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals for contrast studies.</li><li>Ensuring proper sterilization of equipment.</li><li>Assisting with the development and implementation of new protocols and procedures.</li><li>Ensuring radiation safety protocols are followed.</li><li>May assist with the interpretation of radiograph results.</li></ul>Additional Notes:<ul><li>Radiographers typically work in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic imaging centers.</li><li>They may work fixed shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.</li><li>The role requires a combination of technical skills, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, and strong communication skills.</li><li>Radiographers play a crucial role in the accurate diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of medical conditions</li></ul>Qualification: BSC from approved universitiesDiploma under DMEJob Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;25,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Provident Fund</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Master's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>5years: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Language:<ul><li>English (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
