As we expand, we are looking for a dedicated and experienced Estimator to join our technical team.Role Overview:The Joinery Project Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating costs, materials, and labor for bespoke joinery and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a deep understanding of joinery processes, and the ability to read and produce detailed AutoCAD drawings to support the estimation process.Key Responsibilities:&middot; Review drawings, tender documents, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.&middot; Conduct quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQs).&middot; Source and obtain supplier/subcontractor quotations for materials and services.&middot; Analyze and compare pricing to ensure competitive and accurate estimates.&middot; Prepare project cost breakdowns and tender submissions.&middot; Liaise with project managers, designers, and clients to clarify project requirements.&middot; Maintain and update cost databases and pricing libraries.&middot; Support value engineering and project budgeting processes.Requirements and Qualifications&middot; Minimum 5 years of experience as a Joinery or Fit-out Estimator.&middot; Strong knowledge of joinery materials, manufacturing processes, and finishes.&middot; Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (AutoCAD)Proficiency in MS Excel and estimation software.&middot; Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.&middot; Proficient in AutoCAD (reading and drawing).&middot; Strong communication and negotiation abilities.&middot; Previous experience in high-end residential, commercial, or hospitality joinery projects.&middot; Knowledge of local suppliers and material costs.Job Types: Full-time, Contract Contract length: 24 months
