Key Responsibilities:1. Medical Records Management<ul><li>Maintain, organize, and update patient medical records (both physical and digital).</li><li>Ensure completeness of patient files by verifying that all required documents are present.</li><li>Index and code medical records appropriately for easy retrieval.</li><li>Ensure confidentiality and secure storage of all records as per hospital policy and legal standards.</li></ul>2. Documentation &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to admissions, discharges, deaths, and births.</li><li>Maintain records for medico-legal cases (MLC) and ensure proper documentation.</li><li>Assist in audits and ensure compliance with NABH/NABL/JCI requirements.</li></ul>3. Coordination &amp; Communication<ul><li>Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments to collect and complete pending documentation.</li><li>Support clinicians and management with retrieval of patient files whenever needed.</li><li>Respond to authorized requests for medical records from patients, insurance companies, and legal authorities.</li></ul>4. Data Entry &amp; Digital Records<ul><li>Enter and update data in Hospital Information System (HIS).</li><li>Digitize old records and maintain proper indexing for electronic health records (EHR).</li></ul>5. Compliance &amp; Confidentiality<ul><li>Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and data protection laws (e.g., HIPAA if applicable).</li><li>Maintain high confidentiality while handling sensitive patient information.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Graduate in any discipline (preferably Life Sciences / Health Administration).</li><li>Diploma/Certification in Medical Records Technology or Hospital Management preferred.</li><li>1&ndash;3 years of experience in MRD/Medical Records Management.</li></ul>Skills Required:<ul><li>Knowledge of medical terminology and hospital record-keeping standards.</li><li>Proficiency in MS Office and Hospital Information Systems (HIS).</li><li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</li><li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: &#8377;15,000.00 - &#8377;20,000.00 per monthBenefits:<ul><li>Paid sick time</li></ul>Work Location: In person
