<div>Sayres Defense, a leading provider of defense support services to the DOD, is currently seeking an experienced SENIOR PRINCIPAL MARINE SYSTEMS ENGINEER with SECRET clearance, verifiable in DISS in Washington, DC.
In this role, you will provide executive level support to the PMS 300/325 Ship Design Management team, providing SME expertise for technical and engineering efforts on the assigned Hull (e.g T-AGOS, T-AO, T-AGS, NAV, T-ATS, NGLS, Small Boats, and Service Craft).
Qualifications &amp; Clearance Requirements<ul><li>
Provide engineering/technical support for concept studies; feasibility studies; preliminary design activities; contract design activities; detail design and construction activities; independent design reviews; In-service ship design and engineering activities; shipboard installation support; and special studies related to ships/boats/craft, ship systems and/or shipboard equipment.</li><li>
Perform critical ship design review and analysis of industry (shipyard) contract deliverables such as specifications, drawings and calculations. On behalf of Navy customer, develop corrective design comments and revisions to confirm to Government specifications and requirements.</li><li>
Supervise and train junior SDM engineers.</li><li>
Develop technical resolutions to engineering problems that arise in the production of Navy Ships.</li><li>
Provide Hull, Mechanical, and Electrical (HM&amp;E) technical assessments and evaluations in accordance with the specification and advise the client on equipment and system design issues.</li></ul>
Education, Work Experience, Skills and Clearance Requirements:<ul><li>
Bachelor's degree in engineering and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of Navy shipbuilding/design experience.</li><li>
Excellent interpersonal and customer relation skills.</li><li>
Superior organizational skills.</li><li>
Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>
Active Secret security clearance verifiable in JPAS or the ability to obtain an interim Secret clearance</li><li>
Strong Marine Engineering experience.</li><li>
Knowledge of ABS, Commercial, and Military Sealift Command (MSC) standards in support of Navy Auxiliary ship builiding</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Prior Military or Maritime Engineering background.</li><li>
Experience with automated engineering software (i.e. AutoCAD, AdobePro).</li><li>
Knowledge of Contract Documentation, experience reading contract data, and familiarity with NAVSEA ship specification requirements and processes.</li></ul>

SENIOR PRINCIPAL MARINE SYSTEMS ENGINEER

<div>Sayres is seeking a Metrics and Data Analyst- LCS Maintenance Training in Bahrain with Secret Clearance verifiable in DISS.
This position is located in Manama Bahrain; the Kingdom of Bahrain is the perfect destination; its climate ensures that you can enjoy the warm waters of the Gulf and experience a variety of water sports and other outdoor activities throughout the year. One of the main traditions is Manama Souq - a feast for the senses. The sounds, colors, smells and flavors invite travelers into the heart of the Bahraini experience.
You will have the opportunity to support Commander Naval Surface Group Central (CNSG-C). CNSG-C is the executive agent for the readiness (man, train, and equip) of 4 Mine Countermeasure (MCM), and LCS ships forward deployed in Bahrain.
For a best fit for this position, your background would have experience with experience working with Damage Control, working in the engine room, or having been an assessor at an ATG in warfare areas of MOB -D (Damage Control) or MOB-E (Engineering).
Specific responsibilities include:<ul><li>
Develop, update and maintain CNO Availability and CMAV trend reports. Analyze trend reports and provide recommendations.</li><li>
Manage project lead's schedule and associated power point presentations for: Engineering Class room and practical training (MOB E), Damage Control Class room and practical training (MOB D), Damage Control Material Assessment (DCMA), Engineering Focused LTT (Limited Training Team), Damage Control Focused (LTT), Engineering Critical Program Management, Engineering Non-Critical Program Management, NAVOSH Program Management, Gas Free Engineering, Damage Control Program Management, Engineering Safety Precautions, Maintenance and Material Management (3M), Readiness Events (RE2, RE5, RE6, RE7), and Material Inspections (MI).</li><li>
Report status and challenge areas for individual ships. Determine root causes for common training challenges and make recommendations for improvement.</li><li>
Develop and propose data sources and metrics for determining the root causes of CNO Availability extensions. Develop and maintain database track and report metrics for CNO Availability extension root cause analysis once identified. As part of the root cause analysis, assist in determining strategies to mitigate CNO Availability extensions.</li><li>
Develop and maintain database to track and report metrics for CNO Availability growth and new work root cause analysis once identified. Specifically, for LCS Freedom Class.</li><li>
Generate PowerPoint presentations outlining results and recommended actions.</li><li>
Use metrics analysis to support optimal levels of forward staged LCS/MCM material.</li><li>
Provide training and maintenance assessments for LCS Freedom Class
</li><li>Intermittent underway periods onboard LCS/MCM's assigned to CNSG-C.</li></ul>
Qualifications &amp; Clearance Requirements<ul><li>
5 years' experience as an Active-Duty United States Navy Engineman on an LCS, LPD, LHA, DDG, CG, FFG, MCM.</li><li>
LCS Freedom Class experience preferred.</li><li>
US Secret Clearance mandatory verifiable in DISS.</li><li>
Proficient and experienced with Microsoft Office, especially with Access, Excel and PowerPoint.</li></ul>
Preferred skillsets<ul><li>
LCS Freedom Class experience.</li><li>
Emergency Management.</li></ul>
