Purpose</div>
</div><div><ul><li>The purpose of a Senior Cost Engineer is to review and validate project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial planning processes. This role involves collaborating and challenging project teams to provide costeffective estimates in accordance with schedule and execution plan.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>
Responsibilities</div>
</div><div><ul><li>The Senior Cost Engineer is responsible for the verification, consolidation of accurate estimates, effective management, and reliable control of project costs throughout the project lifecycle. This role involves developing and controlling cost estimates, analyzing cost variances, and ensuring that projects are completed within approved budgets. The Cost Engineer collaborates with project managers, engineers, finance teams, and other stakeholders to provide financial insights and support effective decisionmaking.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>
Education</div>
</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or a related field. A professional certification (e.g., AACE, PMP, CCE) is a plus.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>
Experience</div>
</div><div><ul><li>Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in cost engineering, project cost control, or a similar role. Experience in construction, engineering, oil &amp; gas preferred.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>

This role involves negotiating contracts and commercial terms, and ensuring timely delivery to support project and operations timelines and budgets.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><div>

</div><div><ul><ul><li>Procurement Planning: You develop and implement procurement plans based on project requirements, timelines, and budgets.</li><li>Supplier Sourcing: You follow strategic sourcing category manager framing and evaluate suppliers, ensuring they meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.</li><li>Contract Negotiation: You negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while mitigating risks. You align with the Category Management team as needed.</li><li>Purchase Orders: You issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications and company policies.</li><li>Cost Control: You ensure procurement activities align with budget constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.</li><li>Compliance: You ensure all procurement activities comply with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.</li><li>Reporting: You provide regular updates to project managers and stakeholders on procurement status, potential risks, and mitigation strategies</li></ul></ul></div></div><div><div><div>
