Main purpose of position</b></div><div><br>
Currently we are looking for a a <b>Site Mechanical Engineer in Nagah Hammadi for Obelisk project,</b> to be part of our global team working together towards our vision &ndash; <b>Improving our future.</b> As our <b>Site Mechanical Engineer, </b>you will Oversee all mechanical activities on-site, track the physical progress of work, and report on status and deviations regarding</div><div>
quality, timeline, cost, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment). Engage daily with site supervisors from sub-sup-</div><div>
pliers and manage sub-supplier/contractor relationships during the execution phase. This includes managing all aspects of work,</div><div>
from progress and quality to HSE, CLO (Community liaison office), security, and direct supervision of daily construction activities</div><div><b><br>
Main responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Supervise all mechanical activities at site, monitor physical progress of the works and report status and deviations on quality, time, cost and HSSE, engage daily with the site managers of sub-suppliers. Responsible for the construction of mechanical works elements of the plant such as piles, trackers and metal structures, modules, fences, tower erection, HV and MV mechanical assembly of equipment, etc.</li><li>
Review and approve construction documentation submitted by contractors as Method Statements, request support and approval from the engineering team when required. Support Quality Team to review material/component specifications and datasheets.</li><li>
Organize in cooperation with Sub-Contractor(s) and lead Pre-Construction Meetings related to mechanical activities, secure that activities at site only starts after common agreement from those meetings</li><li>
Monitor physical progress from contractors daily, evaluate estimations to complete in cooperation with the planning team and demand action and/or recovery plans from contractors when needed. Support Quantity Surveillance to manage measurable contracts when applicable.</li><li>
Handle communication of technical queries from suppliers and facilitation of discussion and resolution with Lead Engineer and Civil Engineer, secure that construction is always executed with the latest version of drawings, manuals and specifications. Verify that &ldquo;red mark&rdquo; on construction documentation are kept updated and signed.</li><li>
Coordinate SSO quality Inspectors about critical activities and where they shall be present at site daily for random physical inspections and audits, in addition to their witness and hold point requests.7. Support the PTM, Lead Engineer and Civil Engineer through technical assessments/investigations, due diligence stud-ies and designs 8. Assist quality team on NCR process at site, taken ownership to follow up implementation of corrective actions 9. Qualifications and competencies</b></div><ul><li>
Degree in Mechanical /Civil Engineering / Construction/Technician.</li><li>
Min:5+ years&rsquo; experience working in the field of EPC in medium to large size construction projects</li><li>
1+ years of ground mount PV experience with the Tracker system</li><li>
Understanding of how to read Drawings</li><li>
Experience of PV module mounting structure Pilling/Ramming/Predrilling/Skid foundations etc works at site.</li><li>
Specialization in Solar and/or renewables and Knowledge about mechanical best industry practices</li><li>
Arabic Speaker, English Fluent.</li></ul><div><b>

Site Mechanical Engineer

Main purpose of position</b><br>
We are currently seeking a <b>Head of Business Development &ndash; India</b>, based in Delhi, to lead and drive the company&rsquo;s renewable energy growth strategy in India in line with our vision of improving our future. The role will be responsible for originating, developing, and securing renewable energy projects (solar, wind, hybrid, BESS and emerging technologies) from early-stage opportunity identification through financial close and handover to the Execution team. The position will play a key leadership role in market positioning, strategic partnerships, regulatory engagement, and competitive bidding across central and state-level opportunities.</div><p></p><div><b><br>
Main responsibilities</b></div><ul><li>
Lead market reviews, analyzing regulatory issues and policy supports (for utility-scale solar and develop strategies) for countries or regions</li><li>
Lead negotiations with prospective development partners and assume responsibility for external relationships</li><li>
Identify and evaluate new opportunities and projects that can meet Scatec&rsquo;s investment hurdle rates
</li><li>Lead and coordinate project development efforts including securing land, obtaining required local permits and approvals, securing interconnection rights from utilities, negotiating PPAs with utilities, establishing EPC and O&amp;M agreements, identifying, and securing equity and project debt</li><li>
Lead bidding processes to submit bid packages in response to Request for Proposals (RFPs) from utilities and private off-takers</li><li>
Identify mature projects or portfolios in development for acquisition and manage the project acquisition process
</li><li>Manage development teams including internal resources, consultants and development subcontractors
</li><li>Develop equity and project finance solutions with the project finance team and participate in securing financing for the projects and bring the project to financial close</li><li>
Manage and develop own team and perform the role as leader based on our values and leadership traits</li></ul><div><b>
Qualifications and competencies</b></div><ul><li>
Master&rsquo;s degree in engineering, Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Legal, or a related field.</li><li>
15&ndash;20 years of experience in renewable energy project development in India, with demonstrated exposure to utility-scale projects.</li><li>
Proven experience in PPA negotiations, competitive bidding (SECI/state tenders), grid connectivity processes, and project financing.</li><li>
Strong understanding of Indian regulatory frameworks.</li><li>
Experience in financial modelling and investment evaluation.</li><li>
Strong negotiation, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.</li><li>
Fluency in English (written and spoken); Hindi and other regional languages are an advantage.</li><li>
Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and execution orientation.</li></ul><div><b>
